Once again we share the word of God in this case a text where Christians are urged to live according to
with the high calling they have received from God. This implies adopting attitudes of humility, meekness, patience and love, essential for harmonious coexistence within the Christian community. Furthermore, they must strive to maintain the unity that the Holy Spirit has created among them, guarding it through peace.

I therefore, a prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all humility and meekness, patiently bearing with one another in love, eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:1-3

"I therefore, a prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,"

• "I therefore am a prisoner in the Lord": Paul identifies himself as "a prisoner in the Lord", which indicates that he is imprisoned because of his faith in Christ. This fact adds weight to his exhortation, since his personal suffering is a testimony of his commitment to the gospel.
• "I beg you": This term shows the urgency and importance of your message. Paul is not simply advising, but pleading with believers to take his words seriously.

• "that you walk worthy of the vocation with which you were called": Here, "walk" refers to behavior or lifestyle. The "vocation" is God's call to salvation and to live as Christians. Paul urges the Ephesians to live in a way that is consistent and honorable with this calling.

"in all humility and meekness, patiently bearing with one another in love,"

• "with all humility and meekness": Humility and meekness are essential attitudes for Christians. Humility implies a correct appreciation of oneself in relation to God and others, while meekness is a disposition of gentleness and submission, avoiding arrogance and violence.
• "Bear patiently with one another in love": This phrase underlines the importance of patience and tolerance among members of the Christian community. "Enduring" does not simply mean enduring, but doing so with an attitude of love, understanding and forgiving the faults of others.

"solicitous to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace;"

• "solicitous to keep": Being "solicitous" means being diligent and diligent. Paul calls believers to be proactive in maintaining something very valuable.
• "the unity of the Spirit": The unity that Christians must keep is a unity given by the Holy Spirit. It is not a unity based on common human interests, but on God's work in them.

This is especially relevant in contexts where differences and conflicts may arise, remembering that your calling is to live in love and peace, following the example of Christ.

Buen día amigos, que Dios les bendiga.
Una vez más compartimos la palabra de Dios en este caso un texto donde se insta a los cristianos a vivir de acuerdo
con el alto llamado que han recibido de Dios. Esto implica adoptar actitudes de humildad, mansedumbre, paciencia y amor, esenciales para la convivencia armoniosa dentro de la comunidad cristiana. Además, deben esforzarse por mantener la unidad que el Espíritu Santo ha creado entre ellos, cuidándola a través de la paz.

Yo pues, preso en el Señor, os ruego que andéis como es digno de la vocación con que fuisteis llamados, con toda humildad y mansedumbre, soportándoos con paciencia los unos a los otros en amor, solícitos en guardar la unidad del Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz.

"Yo pues, preso en el Señor, os ruego que andéis como es digno de la vocación con que fuisteis llamados,"

• "Yo pues, preso en el Señor": Pablo se identifica como "preso en el Señor", lo que indica que está encarcelado por causa de su fe en Cristo. Este hecho añade peso a su exhortación, ya que su sufrimiento personal es un testimonio de su compromiso con el evangelio.
• "os ruego": Este término muestra la urgencia y la importancia de su mensaje. Pablo no está simplemente aconsejando, sino suplicando a los creyentes que tomen en serio sus palabras.

• "solícitos en guardar": Ser "solícitos" significa ser diligentes y esforzados. Pablo llama a los creyentes a ser proactivos en mantener algo muy valioso.
• "la unidad del Espíritu": La unidad que los cristianos deben guardar es una unidad dada por el Espíritu Santo. No es una unidad basada en intereses comunes humanos, sino en la obra de Dios en ellos.
• "en el vínculo de la paz": El "vínculo" es lo que une, y en este contexto, la paz actúa como un lazo que mantiene unidos a los creyentes. La paz, aquí, no es solo la ausencia de conflicto, sino una armonía activa que refleja la reconciliación con Dios y con los demás.

En la práctica, esto significa que los cristianos deben reflejar en su vida diaria la transformación que Cristo ha operado en ellos, actuando con amor y buscando la armonía y la unidad dentro de su comunidad. Esto es especialmente relevante en contextos donde las diferencias y los conflictos pueden surgir, recordando que su llamado es a vivir en amor y paz, siguiendo el ejemplo de Cristo.
