There is much talk about whether a child of God can lose salvation, or lose the status of a child of God.
To begin with, I clarify, we are all born as a creation of God, but when we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior we can be called children of God.

But to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

John 1:12

Following the theme, once we have taken the step to be called children of God, if we really did it from the heart, there is no turning back. We are children of God and He will never stop us from getting lost.
We are his children, his sheep and the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf constantly.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and I give them eternal life; and they will never perish, nor will anyone snatch them out of my hand. My Father who gave them to me is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from my Father's hand. I and the Father are one.

Buenas tardes amigos, que Dios les bendiga grandemente.
Mucho se habla si un hijo de Dios puede perder la salvación, o perder la condición de hijo de Dios.
Para empezar aclaro, todos nacemos como creación de Dios, más cuando recibimos a Jesucristo como Señor y Salvador podemos ser llamados hijos de Dios.

Mas a todos los que le recibieron, a los que creen en su nombre, les dio potestad de ser hechos hijos de Dios

Siguiendo el temas una vez dado el paso para ser llamados hijos de Dios, si es que realmente lo hicimos de corazón ya no hay vuelta atrás. Somos hijos de Dios y jamas Él dejará de que nos perdamos.
Somos sus hijos, sus ovejas y el Espíritu Santo obrará a nuestro favor constantemente.

Mis ovejas oyen mi voz, y yo las conozco, y me siguen, y yo les doy vida eterna; y no perecerán jamás, ni nadie las arrebatará de mi mano. Mi Padre que me las dio, es mayor que todos, y nadie las puede arrebatar de la mano de mi Padre. Yo y el Padre uno somos.
