Good morning friends, may God bless you greatly. Today I share with you the passage from Romans 8:14-17 which highlights the deep relationship that believers have with God through the Holy Spirit. Those who are led by the Spirit of God are recognized as children of God. In contrast to fear and bondage, we are reminded that we have received the spirit of adoption, which means we are accepted as members of God's family with full rights and privileges. This spiritual adoption allows us to cry out to God with intimacy and trust, calling Him "Abba, Father," a loving expression that reflects a close and loving relationship.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God. For you have not received the spirit of slavery to fear again, but you have received the spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father! The Spirit himself witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God. And if children, also heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, so that we may be glorified with him.

Furthermore, this passage highlights that the Holy Spirit Himself testifies within us that we are children of God. This internal confirmation strengthens our faith and confidence in our identity as children of God. As children of God, we are also heirs along with Christ, sharing in his glory and receiving the blessings and promises of God. However, it is also recognized that this divine sonship can involve suffering and difficulties, such as those Jesus experienced. But despite any temporary suffering, the final promise is glorification together with Christ in the kingdom of God.

Buen día amigos, que Dios les bendiga grandemente. Hoy les comparto el pasaje de Romanos 8:14-17 donde se destaca la profunda relación que los creyentes tienen con Dios a través del Espíritu Santo. Aquellos que son guiados por el Espíritu de Dios son reconocidos como hijos de Dios. En contraste con el miedo y la esclavitud, se nos recuerda que hemos recibido el espíritu de adopción, lo que significa que somos aceptados como miembros de la familia de Dios con plenos derechos y privilegios. Esta adopción espiritual nos permite clamar a Dios con intimidad y confianza, llamándolo "Abba, Padre", una expresión cariñosa que refleja una relación cercana y amorosa.

Porque todos los que son guiados por el Espíritu de Dios, éstos son hijos de Dios. Pues no habéis recibido el espíritu de esclavitud para estar otra vez en temor, sino que habéis recibido el espíritu de adopción, por el cual clamamos: ¡Abba, Padre! El Espíritu mismo da testimonio a nuestro espíritu, de que somos hijos de Dios. Y si hijos, también herederos; herederos de Dios y coherederos con Cristo, si es que padecemos juntamente con él, para que juntamente con él seamos glorificados.

Además, este pasaje destaca que el Espíritu Santo mismo testifica dentro de nosotros que somos hijos de Dios. Esta confirmación interna fortalece nuestra fe y confianza en nuestra identidad como hijos de Dios. Como hijos de Dios, también somos herederos junto con Cristo, compartiendo en su gloria y recibiendo las bendiciones y promesas de Dios. Sin embargo, también se reconoce que esta filiación divina puede implicar sufrimiento y dificultades, como las que Jesús experimentó. Pero a pesar de cualquier sufrimiento temporal, la promesa final es la glorificación junto con Cristo en el reino de Dios.
