RE: 📚 The Nigerian Schooling System: How Bad Is It and What Can Be Done to Fix It?

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

I've gone through your post, yes we have such problem in our educational system.
The solution is not mainly the government, Parents have a crucial role to play to ensure our educational system is ok, some parents are so carless about their childrens education, why on earth will a mother tell her child to stay away from school and to hawlk, when we have free education?

Not only parents the society which these schools are being stationed.
There's a community I know about, the government provides build a school with solar systems, computers, clean water chairs, and the community are supposed to protect those infrastructure because it's for them, at this stage someone from that community went there to the school and steal those things, the funniest thing is that the community members did not do anything about it, they inturn blame the government instead of protecting those things. When we know very well that the government can not give us the exert protection that we need.

Comon bro, this issue that we blame the government of all our problems in this country is not funny anymore.

Let us protect the little the government has done and disturb them for more instead of destroying the little and ask for the same again

WHAT HAVE THE GOVERNMENT DONE?

Please I need details of development the government have done in the last 60yrs that has helped the citizens of Nigeria.

Note: Beconnected is not a political affiliated brand, we are only pointing problems and major solutions for change not to fight the government.

But we will still like to know what the government have done so far

You say from 1960 ok let's go

Ok
1.1960 there were not upto 30 universities in Nigeria, as of 2025 we have

  1. Electricity Nigeria generated 1.2 GWh now in 2025 nigeria has generated 10,000 GWh
  2. Access to clean water More Nigerians now have access to cleaner water than how we where in 1960
  3. Rail way: i domt need to write about this one,i believe you have used thr rail way in lagos abiuja kaduna and PH and others
  4. GDP Nigeria now is one of the highest GDP in the Africa.
  5. Aviation: As of 1960 most of the international travels in Nigeria was done from Lagos or Abuja but now u can twavel to other countries though one international airport in the 6 geopolitical zones

Lot's more to mention
If u still want me to mention more i can confidently do that.

The truth js that We have achieved alot of things but yet we are moving slowly. As that yuu don't just put 100% blaim on the government, the citizens have their rolw to play

Before i end this I want to ask what is the role of citizens in the development of Nigeria?
Please answer this question
Thank you
God bless you
God bless Nigeria
