STEPS ON HOW I CREATED THIS SIMPLE REALISTIC ART

It's another day and i am hear to share with everyone my realistic pencil art of an elderly woman drawn with a charcoal pencil. Been a while I worked on an elderly person's face. As such, I admit that it was a bit Challenging due to the bad quality photo that was given by the client. Well, as you can really see that I don't give up so I was able to put things into proper places.

I started this art with cloth. Well, many people prefer starting their art with face alone but I always go for any position that will give me vibes I.e face, cloth or hair.

However, the easiest way to draw this cloth is to draw;

Study the cloth very well and confirm if you have done a proper sketch.
Use your charcoal pencil to mark out those lines correctly and start blending the darker points with charcoal powder carefully.
Use a small flat eraser to create highlights and you are done.

Drawing her hair is another simplest task. In fact, more simple than drawing her cloth.
The basic steps are;

Spot the highlights and create an appropriately mark out.
spread some quantity of charcoal powder on the entire hair region and use your first finger to apply them carefully. Apply force a bit at spots that have to be darker.
Lastly, use your detailing eraser (mini zero eraser) to create the highlights and you are done.
Use tissue and brush to shade the background lightly. Pull out the tapes
