As he stood at the airport gate, suitcase in hand his phone lit up with a message that changed everything.
It was from her the love of his life whom he had done everything possible for her to join him in chasing his dreams abroad .

" I'm pregnant, you're going to be a dad ".

Andrel was shocked the bustling airport fading unto the background. The thoughts hit him like a torrent fatherhood , responsibility, love expanding in ways he had never imaged.
He setdown his suitcase slowly mind racing.
Plans abroad suddenly took a backseat against this new reality knocking on his door.

He called her immediately.

"How are you? "he asked, voice filled with concern .
Am excited but a bit apprehensive, "she admitted.
I'm here ,"he said instantly. I'm not going anywhere we will face this together."

The flight he had planned cancelled that day priorities shifted. He rushed back to be with her, discussing future names for the baby, dreams now including little life.
