Yesterday was a very foggy day in Buenos Aires. It felt like we were inside a cloud. An excellent photo opportunity. I was walking through Plaza de Mayo and was struck by the fact that I couldn't see the domes of the buildings: the perfect setting for some unique images.
Ayer fue un día con mucha neblina en Buenos Aires. Parecía que estábamos dentro de una nube. Un excelente motivo para tomar fotos. Caminaba por la Plaza de Mayo y me impactó no ver las cúpulas de los edificios: el escenario perfecto para unas imágenes únicas.
This is the monument to Juana Azurduy, standing out against the old Post Office—as it was once called. Its name has changed over the years, but I still remember it that way.
Este es el monumento a Juana Azurduy, recortándose sobre el antiguo Palacio de Correos —así se lo llamaba en otros tiempos. Su nombre ha cambiado con los años, pero yo lo sigo recordando así.
In honor of the old post office, here's another monument: dedicated to the postmen of yesteryear. Today, shrouded in fog and passersby, it seems to merge with the landscape. The real protagonist is the fog.
En honor al antiguo correo, aquí otro monumento: dedicado a los carteros de otros tiempos. Hoy, envuelto entre la niebla y los transeúntes, parece fundirse con el paisaje. La verdadera protagonista es la niebla.
