There's a doggy in the sky.
Can you see a dog sitting up in the center of the picture?

Cloud forms sometimes look like animals and at other times the clouds can take on beautiful views. For instance, I have two doggie shots in here and the rest will all be cloud formations. Our early summer sky was on top form again, as I remember similar views at the beginning of our last summer. Of course, the wind also plays a role in the shaping of the clouds, as the wind can cut back and forth in the bay where we live.
At times things can get hectic here, as there is great power in the sky during the south easter gale force winds, and a lot of damages can occur. But at other times, such as this day, it was a fairly strong high wind that was at work on the clouds. I also love to see when two opposing winds cleave the clouds apart, as there are most always strange and lovely cloud formations taking shape, almost like an artist in the sky.
So, come and look.
The first two shots were toward the West, and you can see the lovely sun rays in the background.
Now the following four shots were toward the North.
And the last four shots were toward the West again, ending in two sunset shots.
So, yes, a high wind with the sun below the clouds can conjure up lovely sunrays. I always call it paintings in the sky. We are blessed to live near the ocean, but not too near because of the high salt content in the air. Salty air and the blazing African sun can turn one's body into biltong (jerky) meaning dried meat. I only write the above jokingly, as it is not so serious.
It is almost the end of the month, and Christmas is on the doorstep. A jovial season of family gatherings, fun, presents, great food, and even a time to chill. It's been a tough year for us, and I bet also for everyone else here, and lately we feel like used punch bags. At this stage, things don't look like they will get any better next year, but we just have to endure. I am old now, and I don't know how much longer I can go on, but until then I will just continue to do what I can do.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

This always happens to me, that when I look at the sky I see different shapes of animals. I think it depends on how creatively I look at it. I have also seen these shapes in other places.
Wow, those cloud shots are amazing! 😍 It’s cool how you noticed the dog shape too — I always love trying to see animals or faces in clouds haha. It’s like nature’s own art show in the sky
I see the dog standing there as if it's begging for food; it looks like a poodle. Excellent photos, by the way.
Oh, I can see it! How cool!
