Synchronised shots of some different views.

I will show you some lovely actions to enjoy, and we had to laugh at the first 3 photos.

A pair of gosling juveniles decided to have a drink together.

I don't think anyone of us would appreciate it if somebody had to kick us awake, especially if it is a family member. Now I know that there are gentle ways to awaken someone, but in this humorous case it was a great laugh.

The gosling at the right, discovered that he couldn't reach the water standing up and look below, at the pandemonium that the gosling caused when he decided to sit.

As he sat, he kicked back and accidentally kicked another gosling that was lying sleeping behind the two. The poor sleeping guy was awakened with a bang:)

Did I say that there was some synchronising going on?

They landed on the beam in our back garden.

Look how cute this below is, and it looked like they were dancing. My wife called me to come and see, and my camera wanted to come with. So, as my wife opened the back glass door, the two doves twirled around. How is that for synchronisation?

Late afternoon, and there was peace in the valley.

A squirrel was resting on a beam in our front garden at peace with his world.

A dove also sat on a beam. (Sorry about the blurry picture, but I had to use it to show you what I saw).

Look! They were sitting on the same beam in peace with each other. Obviously not on speaking terms, but they were both looking out at the ocean.

A sun halo means that we will soon have some very welcome rain.

The funny thing is that we are entering early summer, and we are in a winter rainfall area, so this made no sense at all. In any case, I grabbed a broom to block the sun in order to show you the halo.

And on the next day, the halo appeared again, and this time I grabbed a doggie poop scoop to try to block the sun.

Yes, like I said, a bit of everything, and just our way of enjoying the wildlife views. There are 8 surviving goslings, and their little wings are too small to fly yet, but in another couple of weeks they will all be gone. We see this every season, it's just the predator count that changes. This year is better than last season when many of the goslings didn't survive. I took some shots at the pond where the goslings were, that I will show you in another post.
At times I like to do posts like this with different subjects, as there is so much to see here. Just my way of doing things.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
