Some landscapes to share.
Abundance is a nine letter word that means plenty, and overflow.
All that I humbly wanted was a cottage near a mountain and a dam.
Now I have been given a small house, near a mountain range, and a very big dam, namely the ocean :) So, how's that for abundance?
Not only a mountain, but a mountain range that is many kilometers long. The "dam" is salty, and it contains things like orcas, whales, sharks and dolphins to name only a few of many more.
To get back to the orcas, there are two regulars here and they are named as Port and Starboard. The one's back fin leans to the left, and the other one's backfin leans to the right. Port and Starboard are sailor's terms for left and right of a ship.
So, let's have a look at the mountains and a hill first, and then I will show you the big "dam".
And I mentioned above about the big "dam" that we now have.
All within sight not far from our house, both the mountains and the sea.
A strong wind was blowing, and it left the streaks of light and dark on the sea surface.
Beautiful, isn't it?
Finally, I took a series of sunset photos from the same spot where I took these photos to be shared soon in a post.
Imagine near the top floor of that tall building, and staring at the sunset across the ocean? The sun is slowly shifting towards the left, as it is its summer position, and it will soon be above the open part of the ocean. I like to go down to the beach in order to get the sun dropping into the ocean. It is such a majestic sight. We have not been able to do that for a long time, as I struggle to walk on the beach with my gammy leg, but it is worth going to try again as the weather will be warmer.
Another feature here, is a lookout spot on the mountain pass as it shows the entire bay, both sea and mountains. One only has to be careful of the baboons. But later in summer is ideal to go up to the lookout spot, as by then the baboon babies will all be teenagers. One must never go near a baboon mom with her baby, as they are very aggressive and one does not want to get attacked by a baboon male. Another issue is that the teenage baboons try to raid one's car if one has an open window or unlocked doors. They are clever enough to open an unlocked car door:)
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Wow, this is definitely awesome! I love it!
Thank you, and I am glad that you liked it :)
It's incredible. It seems as if the clouds could touch each other from the top of that mountain
Oh yes, the clouds often come to rest on the mountains. Sometimes the clouds even sink below the mountains :)

Wow, this is so beautiful! I love how you described the mountains and the ocean — it feels so peaceful. The way you connect nature to abundance really makes me think about how lucky we are to have these moments around us. 💙
Thank you, and we live in a beautiful part of the country. I always try to show the beauty of South Africa in my blog to the world, so that they can come to see for themselves.
I paired nature and abundance with life, as so many never see the blessings of the moments :)
