Well, you have had much better successes than what I had milady. I put most of my time into Hive, as eventually we will have enough funds to not only expand the existing long-term projects, but also to launch new projects. There is a great need in our country, and we do all that we can to help. We don't have a great economy, and we lead the world in the un-employment numbers. So, millions don't have jobs with the result that people and their families suffer.
It is a real mountain to climb, but Papillon is now 24 years old this year, and we will just continue with what we do.

In my own experience to find (and to obtain) public funds for social/ charity projects is always hard, especially for small charity associations. I worked on projects that included 2-4 different subjects included a municipality to obtain the european funds because to have that kind of funds you have to guarantee a professional team to manage every activity and every document they need. It's not simple and everything start months before the call for paper and, at first, you have to grow up the partnerships. When I worked on small projects the best way to receive some funds (here in Italy) was to ask them to some local banks and/or municipality. Sure, at first you have to have a well written project to introduce what you want to do with the funds and so I think it's very useful to study how to write it. My best tips to write a project could be: clear concepts and objectives expressed in simple words. Just to know, on the site of the European Union there are some useful resourses to write good plans/projects.
Oh yes, I can see that you are very experienced, and in our country things are different. There is an overflow of funding applications by thousands of charities and non-profits. And a business owner told me that he gets more than 300 applications every day. So, it is very difficult to get anything, but somehow, we always managed to survive. Many scam charities are also active, and as soon as they get funded, then they close the charity down. What I am doing now is to build my Hive account, as it will eventually turn out to be a big boost for our projects at Papillon.
