Landscapes, farmscapes and little beauties.
Come and visit this farm with us, and I will show you some delightful sights. This is to show you some context, as we made a great discovery here that I will show you in another post.
The crop has been harvested from the land and now the feed bales are waiting to be collected.
Nothing gets wasted during the farming processes, as everything serves a purpose. We like to watch the grandeur of vistas and the colors, as it brings a peace within. A total break from big city life where we had to endure so many stresses, that caused some major health issues. So, this now is a certain balm to our souls. No more gun shots at night and screaming alarms from the ambulances, or police car sirens. Just pure birdsong and the other soothing natural sounds. Life is much slower here in the small towns, where everybody knows everybody and it's a totally different lifestyle.
This baby rabbit's mom insisted that I should take some photos of her child, and there's more to see of it at the end of the post.
Farmers know all of the tricks and trades of their business and also most of the dangers. Should the little rabbits be allowed to run about free, then there will soon be no rabbits on the farm. So, they are kept in very large cages for their own protection. Families with children, that also visit the farm, allow their children to feed the rabbits. There are also goats, geese, ducks, roosters, and other small animals to feed.
The cutie was having a drink.
Finally, this is one of the reasons why the baby rabbits are protected as this Buzzard can strike in an instant. Of course, there are also many other predators.
Like I said above in the introduction, things are so different here. But of course, there will always be the poor and at Papillon we have several upliftment projects running with partner NPO's. People are more relaxed here and it reminds me of my time as a child on a farm. We just cannot get used to the early bedtime, as at 8pm most of the town is asleep or preparing to do so, and at 4am in the morning the town starts to wake up. We don't subscribe, yet, to this habit as we are late night folks. But we are ever so slowly working towards it. For now, we just continue doing what we do, and thankfully there are no interferences. A time of peace has certainly arrived in our lives.
I hope you enjoyed the story and the post.

Interesting story, that rabbit looks so adorable. It is good to live in a small village where people are more relax than to stay where there is always gunshots
Thank you and yes, that little rabbit is a real cutie. Life is indeed so much more peaceful in the small towns, and it has helped very much to relieve all of our stresses.

The photographs are beautiful, there is nothing like life in the countryside or town, it is very different from the city, life in the towns is stress-free and you live in a lot of peace and tranquility.
I love country life and its crops.
That bunny is beautiful, if you have to be very careful with the bunnies from mice and predators.
In the fields there are many cows, goats, goats, pigs and that makes us free from stress and even more so the crops of fruit plants, it is a different life. I love it.
Thank you for the well detailed comment and all that you say is true. Country life compared to city life is a misnomer, as life in the country is real life and life in the city is artificial life. Totally different and yet each to its own. We love the peace and the quiet of country life and everything is natural.
Blessings.

Thank you and country life is not as staid as many think, because it's a life filled with nature, peace and appreciation for the wonders of creation.
