I was not even aware of the moon...

...as my main focus was on the airplane, imagine my surprise when I saw this.

The plane came over very fast, and I wanted to see what it was, with no thought about the moon. Just a pity that the sky was not a bit brighter, as we have constantly cloudy skies here now. It is winter and a series of cold fronts are starting to land.
I took the shot from a parking spot at a shopping center, while I waited outside for the boss, as she was buying some food inside. The spot also has a great view of the ocean front, and it was approximately 6 kilometers away from the sea. So, I decided to take some cloud shots above the sea, and I got more than I bargained for, as you will see below.
Let's have a look.

A helicopter was taking some tourists on a trip over the beachfront.

So, I decided to follow its progress on the trip.

Keep your eyes on the helicopter as it flies along.

Then the chopper turned at the far end to travel inland.

And finally, this below was the last shot that I took of it.

I often wonder what things below would look like from inside a chopper. We have quite a few helicopter firms here that take tourists on sightseeing trips. I will never forget the ecstasy of my first ride in a helicopter, even as it was in the army, but sadly I have never had an opportunity to take a trip in one. Maybe I will take a trip one day, when I am rich, but only a joke as I am not rich, and I don't plan to be rich, so no helicopter trips for me. There are many other things in our life that enjoy priority, and for instance, we can take the price of a helicopter trip to buy food for the feeding schemes that Papillon supports.
I was really thrilled when I saw that the plane in the tag (first) picture was near the moon, and glad that nature played a trick on me.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Photo No. 1 is one of those photos you don't get to take very often in life.
Truly amazing!🙃✌️

Several things to highlight in the publication.

It may seem simple, but it is loaded with a lot of common sense.

The images are beautiful and, I'm not just saying this to be complimentary. From my lack of knowledge I see a great empathy between the photos in the air, the clouds and the photos of the city and the sea.

In the case of the clouds it strikes me because they are clouds that denote good weather, however, you tell us about cold fronts which shows how unpredictable nature is.

But, I will keep your appreciation of preferring to continue with the food programs than to be rich. Although, when you feed others you make them happy and give them life and, there is no greater wealth than making others happy.

Thank you for sharing.

Happy Sunday.

Cheers and best regards.

It is I who thank you for your words and your generosity.
In truth, I consider that the best way to comment on the work of a content creator is to respect what he does and what he gives us.
Happy Sunday.
Cheers and greetings.

Congratulations friend! 😊 It seems as if the plane has come to fulfill your wish of yesterday!
These are great shots and by the way, this shadowy white arch in your first photo looks stunning. This cannot be the moon because its size is very big, it could be lens flare but looks beautiful. 😎

Thank you for the congrats, and just to note that my camera has a very powerful zoom. There was no sun and no glare, and I can tell you that it was indeed the moon.
Btw. the plane looks close, but it was very high up. 😊

That is a lovely photo my friend!
I also wonder about what it would look like from the helicopter! But I'm also not wealthy.
I once took a photo of the sun rising over the Indian Ocean as a ship sailed across the horizon, but it was a cellphone photo.

Thank you, milady, and a nice surprise, as in my previous post I spoke about getting planes on the moon, so somebody was listening :)
I can tell you that it looks beautiful and much better than flying in a plane. Who wants to be wealthy? It just causes sleepless nights worrying about one's riches.
I think that you must ask your son to download it with "Buetooth" onto your PC.

I think that a good imagination is better than a flight 😊

If I ever get rich, I'll take you on a helicopter ride. I want to see something like that, too. It just reminded me of some folks that flew in from the states (they're residents in Cotacachi), but arrived just the morning that the nationwide strike was started by the indigenous communities and adjacents. They got stuck at the airport. But some clever rich person made a huge business of flying people from the airport close to their houses, so they hired the helicopter for a couple of thousand dollars and landed on a meadow next to their house. They weren't the only ones. Still cheaper than staying at the airport-hotel for 3 weeks (that's how long the strikes lasted).

Also, I'm pretty sure that's not the moon, but a Death Star 😝 Whatever it is - a great picture! Thank you for sharing!
