Fading dreams.

We all survived during the first six months of the year, and it's now only a memory.

Searching for the elusive pot of gold at the end of the rainbow during the new six months, as it evaded all of us during the past six months :)

It is said that what goes up must come down, and I say that this will occur regularly during all of our lifetimes. Reminds one of the crypto prices, as they all act like the ocean's waves up and down. But most of us hodl like true surfers on the crypto waves. Many others slip and fall off, but then some simply get back onto the board again to continue on the journey, and it is sad that many also stop surfing. I think that some of you will have to be a mind mechanic to understand the parable that I wrote here.

So, come and drive with us to see if we could find that pot of gold.

There! We will make a left turn at the second yellow traffic light at the top of the hill.

In order to get to a high spot on the balcony of a shopping center.

And sadly, the right-hand end of the rainbow started to fade.

It was all only a dream, and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is only a fairy tale. A fallacy to start off with, just the same as many of our dreams that we chase never materialises. It is said that a thought is only a thought, unless one clothes it with action. But what if it's wrong thoughts, and we continue to come up empty handed. I have had many of those, as the thought was good, but the timing was wrong. I wonder if the same thing also happened to you. To spend many sacrificial hours in planning and drafting a thought, such as a project, and at the end it turns out to be an utter failure. Then some years later, someone else has the same thought, and the launch turns out to be a winner.
But of course, we get right back onto the board and start to surf on the waves of life again.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Wow, that's a lot of rainbow! I saw one during the Inti Raymi dances in Zuleta the other day, but it was only a small one. They say that there's almost a rainbow at that location when there is sun. It's hardly visibe, just above the hill in the middle.

Sad to read that you didn't get literal gold. I had tried many things, and I did experiment what you describe a few times. Luckily, my first idea was a big winner, and is still working - as long as I'm working. As soon as I relax too much or focus on other things, well, things happen.

Well, at least you get to see a rainbow, even if it's just a small one.
Haha, I didn't expect to get literal gold. Yes, some of my ideas are also first winners, but then there are other ideas that don't take off. Things will always happen methinks.

What an impressive story told in a lovely manner. The rainbow keeps doing it work so should we.

I feel like chasing dreams is like looking for that rainbow’s end too — sometimes we don’t find the gold right away, but maybe the adventure is the real treasure

Yeah, I can relate. There are times when your work isn't appreciated, but then others appreciate it. That's life; sometimes it's unfair, and we can't please everyone or make everyone like us or our work.
