Clouds were playing a game.

The day opened with the clouds trying a game of leapfrog on the mountain peaks.

We used to play the leapfrog game quite often, and I don't know if anyone here has also played the game. It was during my school days, which was something like a hundred years ago :) Of course, my mother freaked when she saw that my school clothes were not looking very healthy, and for some reason she always knew what I was doing. In grade 8 I started to grow tall, and when we played leapfrog, I looked for two small boys and got them to stand next to each other. They would then bend over, and I would jump over both with one hand on the back of the one and the other hand on the back of the other one.

So, the clouds that I saw on this day reminded me of the fun that we had during breaks at school. Those years all young boys were regarded as naughty boys, and we had many naughty habits during the breaks. But that is for a post at another time. Humor was also at a prime spot in our lives, and whenever we started laughing loudly a teacher would appear to investigate. One can easily land up in the principal's office when one drops a frog down the back of a schoolgirl.

Another look at the clouds at play.

This smiley little guy below seemed to like the game that the clouds were playing. (Please excuse my attempt at art but I just had to show you what I saw, as that looked to me to be a very happy cloud).

Okay, enough of the fun, and now for some serious shots below.

We love landscapes, especially when there are clouds and mountains in them.

The dotted land on the righthand slope is filled with olive trees.

The trees are still too young in the shot below, so it is difficult to see them.

Four shots below of other sections of the mountain range.

Always something going on at the mountains, and we can never get tired of looking at them.

Almost every day the clouds offer us different views, and it's amazing that no two are the same. Sometimes they hang to the left, and other times they hang to the right, some stand straight up, and others do their own thing. Whatever they do, it is always beautiful in our eyes. To stand and to stare silently at the wonders in nature, is always so fulfilling. I don't know what it is, but there's something in nature that keeps me spellbound.

Just a pity that others don't have the same thoughts about nature, and so many of them are forever trying to destroy nature. Litter is choking the oceans and the landfills, not even to mention the rivers and the dams. I also cannot understand why people would set fire to forests in order to clear the land for residential purposes, like townships, and often the wind grabs the flames to turn it into a wildfire.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
