A sky lover.

I just can't keep my eyes from the dreamy stuff that appears in the sky.

Especially when the wind that is nature's artist is working with the clouds.

My motto this year will be simple. Don't sit around, get up and do. Let me tell you that sitting for long hours can turn out to be very unhealthy, and as a boy my mom used to say that I have ants in my pants, as I was always outside in the streets. Muscles need exercise, and when one sits for long hours, a degeneration of one's muscles will start to take place. That is the reason for my forays into nature, as it is not only my safe place, as there is always so much to see. The sky, the mountains, and even the ocean are all close by.
But I digress, and let's look at nature's art in the sky.

A bit later the wind started lifting the line of cloud, with some kind of animal appearing at the base.

Would that be a monster starting to open its mouth?

I tried to keep the sun in most of the pictures, and below I will show you why.

Later in the day, and the blue of the sky took on a darker blue tint.

This shot below looked like a giant bird that landed on a tree.

Sun rays were what I wanted to get, as the rays can add a dramatic look to the pictures.

An elephant with a sunrays tail.

Another giant bird tried to land on a tree, or maybe it was a big hen.

At that distance it was near impossible to get a shot of the swallows that flew over the sunrays.

These are the things that fascinate me, as they are all beautiful, to me at least. One day I will ride on those clouds, but not yet, as I still have a lot to do on this planet. A heap of meetings awaits, to discuss the Papillon plans for this year, and I only want to attend the ones that will deliver on the decisions taken. At times meetings can be dreary, as we call them empty talk shops and simply because no action is taken afterwards. Time is of the essence, and there is much to be done as there is so much need. But as always, we will simply close our eyes and get stuck in. The donors of the non-profits have also disappeared and so many great causes are closing down. We are survivors and we will just continue, as we have seen this before.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
