Wednesday Season 2 Review : A Thrilling Yet Frustrating Wait for More

So finally, the second season of the Wednesday series has been released. You all must have been waiting for it for a long time. But here's a twist: only Part One has been released. This means only four episodes have been released. There are a total of eight episodes. The remaining four episodes will come out on September 3. This means you’ll have to wait for about a month, which is a bit frustrating.

But let’s talk about what we get to see in it without any spoilers. You must have seen in the trailer that our main heroine, Wednesday, is having some very strange dreams in which she sees her friend dying. So her one mission in this entire series is to save her friend from dying, no matter what.

But when you watch the four episodes, you’ll forget that she wants to save her friend from dying. Because in the series, you’ll see many different stories and many different plots. You’ll see a lot of different things that are quite interesting and enjoyable to watch. Because of this, your attention shifts from that plot to all the other things, like, okay, what will this corpse do now? Okay, what will she do now? Okay, what will he do now? These kinds of things start running through your mind.

So this series won’t confuse you. But yes, all these things together shift the focus a bit from the main plot. But just when the focus is about to return, the way the series has been ended, on that cliffhanger, it feels like the series was designed very thoughtfully, and the decision to keep four episodes was also taken very carefully. Because of the cliffhanger where the series ends, now we just want to know what happens next, and for that, we’ll have to wait a month helplessly.

After that, we’ll see what happens next. Because of this, many people will feel frustrated, but we can’t do anything about it. But for now, I’ll say it’s been a very enjoyable experience. These four episodes have been quite enjoyable. But yes, don’t watch it while eating. You’ll see some very disgusting things.

If you’ve watched Season One, you’d know. In Season One, there was more focus on that academy, that school, Nevermore. But in Season Two, there’s focus on our main heroine, Wednesday, her family, her legacy, and all those things, which feel really good to watch, and all the other subplots together make the series a very enjoyable experience.

So for now, I’ll say that if you’re a huge die-hard fan of this series, do one thing: wait. Don’t watch these four episodes now. When all the episodes come out together on September 3, watch all the episodes together; it’ll be more fun. Because if you start watching now, you’ll feel a bit frustrated about what happens next. But if you watch at that time, you can watch all of them at once and complete it. This will make your experience even better.

So if you want, you can watch all the episodes together. And if you can’t control yourself, you can watch these four as well. I really liked the story of this series. The way different subplots have been added, even if it distracts our mind a bit from what’s going to happen in the main plot, it’s still a lot of fun.

Visually, the series is quite stunning. The new ways in which Netflix’s logos are shown also look great. In terms of production budget, there doesn’t seem to be any lack. There’s no flaw in its actors either. Whenever Wednesday appears, even in the biggest situations, her face is such that it deflates the other person, and they come back to their place. These things look really good to watch.

So for me, this series has been a very enjoyable experience, and I’d say to you, if you can wait, do wait. Watch all the episodes together on September 3. If you can’t, then go watch this series now. It’ll be a lot of fun. You can’t watch it with family because, at the start of the series, you’ll see a couple kissing passionately, and there are kissing scenes throughout the movie.

So for this reason, you can’t watch it with family, but if you can, go ahead and watch it, but I wouldn’t suggest watching it with family or while eating. You might feel like vomiting while eating. So keeping all these things in mind, you can go watch this series now or wait.
