Bandidos Season 2 Review: Better Than Season 1?

Hello everyone, Netflix's hit series, "Bandidos", has released its second season. I just finished watching this season. Personally, I love this series, but not just for the idea or the execution. Rather, it's because of the characters in this series that I love it so much.

Now that Season 2 has arrived, how has it been? Whether it's better than Season 1, we'll talk about in a bit. But before that, for those who don't know anything about this series, let me give a little basic idea.

The basic story of the series is very simple. Here is a small team, who goes to different places and steals. But one day they join together on a treasure hunt to find a treasure that has never been found before. How they team up, how they find that treasure—that experience is the main attraction of this series.

Story of Season 2:

Season 2 picks up not too long from where the story ended at the end of the first season. The treasure they looted in Season 1 and made a lot of money is taken away from them in Season 2. Now they have no money in their bank account. But this time the situation is more serious, as the lives of some of their team members are also in danger. Season 2 shows what they will do to save their lives and earn new money.

How is Season 2?

Personally, some things I really liked, some things I didn't like at all. But the biggest quality of the series is its overall vibe. A great feeling works throughout the series, which keeps the audience hooked.

The characters in the series are very well designed. Each character has their own quirks, with which the audience can easily connect. In particular, the Camaraderie and bond between the team is very strong. There are moments when it looks like they will turn against each other, but still they don't want to do any real harm to anyone. This relationship looks very beautiful.

Another favorite character of mine is the big strong guy, who is portrayed as a Baahubali type character. He is very cool, and his presence on screen is a joy to behold. His army style personality, mannerisms and behavior are very Rambo type.

Feels like Fast & Furious:

This series reminds me of Fast & Furious movies. There was also a similar group of characters, held together by the strength of friendship. There's a character named Emil, who holds the whole team together emotionally, just like Dom did in Fast & Furious.

Season 2 added some new characters, who tried to add some humor. I like this new layer. The vibe of the entire series is that it's a mix of light entertainment, a bit of comedy, a bit of drama, and a treasure hunt. No need to worry much here, just see.

Negative Aspects:

But there were some downsides. First of all, this show is very predictable. As such, when you watch, you can easily guess what will happen next. This is a big problem for a show like Treasure Hunt, because it lacks suspense.

Secondly, here the challenges are dealt with very simply. The team solves all the problems very easily, which seems a bit unrealistic. This reduces the intensity of the series.

And third, this season's villain is a girl, Regina. But he never seemed that strong. He never thought he could beat Tim. If a treasure hunt show doesn't have a strong villain, the thrill is diminished.

Also, this time most of the focus of the story was on a character named Lily, which I thought was a little too much. As a result, the other characters are a little overshadowed.

Final thought:

I love this series because it has such a great vibe. If another season comes I will definitely watch that too. But I won't force anyone to watch it. If you like it like me, you might like it too.

If I were to give a rating, I would give it a 7 out of 10. If you've seen it, let us know what you think in the comments. If you are thinking of watching, let me know.

I may not see this film, for the premise alone. But this is an excellent review, and I'm certain there's someone who'd enjoy it. Nice!
