Sketches and drawings

In the past week we had 2 holidays, in Italy: April 25 and May the 1st. It was also Easter the week before so many days off, one can think. But I'm working on a new project (it will start in June, I hope) so I have to focus on it. (What is it? I'll write about it in the next weeks.)
I neither made many paintings and drawings. Just a few of them. Here they are:

May 1st wasn't a holiday here, but we get it on Monday instead so have a long weekend.

That second picture is reminding me of some old painting I've seen, but I can't track it down right now. People have always found ways to have fun, usually with some drinking involved :)
