Predator: Killer of Killers | Unexpected Masterpiece (🇪🇸 | 🇺🇸)

  Saludos mis Otakus favoritos de @theanimerealm. Ayer tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar de una Obra Maestra totalmente Inesperada. Se trata de Depredador: Cazador de asesinos. Di con ella de manera super casual y la verdad ni sabía que se estrenaría, lo que la hizo aún mejor. Así que vengo a contarles mi opinión sobre el film sin hacer spoilers.

  ¿Asesino de Asesinos? o debería decir El Escudo, la Espada y la Bala. Para mí, sería un título más adecuado. Y es que no pude dejar mis ganas de contarles mis impresiones sobre esta película. Tengo muchas y todas fueron agradable.

  Este film se encargó de mantener la esencia y el estilo desde principio a fin de la franquicia de Depredador. Es decir, los personajes y la historia estuvieron hechos de manera impecable, con mucha personalidad y una trama bastante profunda, lo que te hace conectar con sus relatos.

  En la película se relatan 3 experiencias de personas diferentes en diferentes momentos temporales. Como siempre, una de las cosas que caracterizan al Depredador es que su rol es de un cazador, le encantan los retos y conseguir a alguna especie que esté a su mismo nivel para probar no sólo su fuerza bruta sino también su intelecto.

  Se podría decir que ya han contado esta historia antes, y en parte es verdad, pero ver cada experiencia única y diferente es lo que la hizo para mí, un film sumamente especial. Porque no son sólo 3 personas más, 3 historias más, es cultura, es drama, y a todo esto súmale un tope personal para cada caso.

  Aquí no sólo se cuenta una historia de supervivencia, sino una historia cargada de venganza, de compromiso y de lealtad. Para mí fue mucho con demasiado pero todo en el buen sentido, agregando también el toque Gore característico de Depredador y extendido también a su manera a los personajes principales.

  Este detalle para mí fue un plus muy bueno pero lo que hizo sumamente especial a este film fue su diseño visual. Me recordó mucho al estilo que mostraron en la serie Arcane, sólo que con otros enfoques de movimiento de manera espectacular y su escenografía también destacó por mucho.

  Su final también fue magistral, terminó de manera abierta, a juicio del espectador y te dejan un sabor agridulce al mostrarte una cara conocida del film previo a este que también fue hecho de muy buena manera. Es decir, todo encajó y todo estuvo hecho como si fuesen fans trabajando para complacer a todos los fans de la saga.

  Trabajos así son dignos de admirar y de volver a ver no una vez sino muchas veces. De verdad que tenía días con ganas de ver algo especial, diferente y realmente muy muy bueno. Si eres de los míos y estás en esta misma onda, este film es para ti y si o si debes darle una oportunidad lo antes posible, te aseguro que lo disfrutarás al máximo. De mi parte le otorgo sus 5 estrellitas completas por ser una Obra Maestra.

I stumbled upon it completely by chance and honestly had no idea it was even coming out, which made the experience even better. So, I'm here to share my spoiler-free thoughts on the film.

"Killer of Killers"? Or perhaps I should say, The Shield, the Sword, and the Bullet. For me, that would be a more fitting title. I couldn't resist sharing my thoughts on this movie! I have so many, and all of them were pleasant.

This film is truly committed to maintaining the essence and style of the Predator franchise from beginning to end. The characters and the story were impeccably crafted, boasting a lot of personality and an intense plot, which makes it easy to connect with their narratives.

In the film, three different people's experiences are recounted across different periods. As always, one of the defining characteristics of the Predator is its role as a hunter; it loves challenges and seeks out a species on its level to test not only its brute strength but also its intellect.

You could say this story has been told before, and that's partly true. However, seeing each unique and distinct experience is what made this film incredibly special for me. It's not just three more people, three more stories; it's about culture, drama, and on top of all that, a personal limit for each case.

This isn't just a story of survival; it's a narrative rich with revenge, commitment, and loyalty. For me, it was a lot to take in, but all in the best possible way. It also featured the characteristic gore that's a hallmark of the Predator franchise, extended in its way to the main characters.

This detail was a fantastic bonus for me, but what made this film truly special was its visual design. It strongly reminded me of the style showcased in the Arcane series, but with different and spectacular approaches to movement, and the scenery also stood out significantly.

Its ending was also masterful, concluding in an open-ended way that leaves it up to the viewer. You're left with a bittersweet taste as it shows you a familiar face from the previous film, which was also exceptionally well-made. In short, everything just clicked; it felt like fans crafted this movie specifically to please other fans of the saga.

Works like this are truly admirable and worth rewatching, not just once, but many times over. I'd genuinely been craving something special, different, and truly, truly good for days. If you're like me and looking for that same vibe, this film is for you. You have to give it a chance as soon as possible; I guarantee you'll enjoy it to the fullest. From my perspective, I'm giving it a full 5 out of 5 stars for being a true masterpiece.
