ย  Saludos amantes de la literatura que dan vida a la comunidad de #Literatos. Les deseo a todos un feliz inicio de semana, especialmente a los que me leen constantemente. Hoy les traigo algunos versos que llegaron inspirados por una sola palabra: Honestidad, la misma que desde mi punto de vista ha sido muy mal valorada y desprestigiada. En fin, acรก les dejo lo que escribรญ. Espero que les guste ๐Ÿงก

En honor a la honestidad
Tengo algunas palabras que dar
Para alcanzar atestiguar
Que la persona
Que naciรณ para darle vida
Por lo general suele ser
La peor valorada
Y a su vez malinterpretada
Catalogรกndola como hipรณcrita
Y tambiรฉn inconmovible.

Yo sรฉ lo que se siente
Que te traten asรญ
Y que te discriminen
Por defender una verdad
Obligรกndote a doblegar
Tu razรณn y sinceridad
Todo con el fin
De que la otra persona
Se sienta feliz.

Pues yo me cansรฉ.
Me cansรฉ de complacer
Me cansรฉ de mendigar
Y de soportar
Darle la razรณn a alguien mรกs.

Hoy defiendo mi pensar
Hoy defiendo mi verdad.
Hoy puedo atestiguar
Que soy honesta
Y capaz
De decirte todo aquello
Que no deseas escuchar.

Hoy defiendo mi forma de ser
Hoy defiendo mi personalidad
Una que la mayorรญa
Suele no soportar
Y esto suele pasar
Porque siempre le rindo

In honor of honesty
I have a few words to give
To reach attest
That the person
Who was born to give you life
Usually, it tends to be
The worst valued
And, in turn, misunderstood
Labeling it as hypocritical
And also unmovable.

I know what it feels like
To be treated like this
And to be discriminated against
For defending a truth
Forcing you to bend
Your reason and sincerity
All for the purpose
So that the other person
to feel happy.

Well, I got tired.
I got tired of pleasing
I got tired of begging
And of putting up with
Giving the reason to someone else.

Today, I defend my thinking.
Today, I defend my truth.
Toda,y I can attest
That I am honest
And Capable
Of telling you everything
That you don't want to hear.

Me encanta el poema: ni complacer ni medigar. Son dos losas, que como actos reflejos, nos acompaรฑan a muchas/os en algรบn momento vivimos el dolor del rechazo. Como toda adicciรณn, cuesta dejar de complacer y mendigar. es todo un duelo. Llegan los nuevos insultos: es una/un presuntuosa/o, sobrebia/o, creรญdo/a....

Asรญ es. Actualmente he recibido nuevos insultos y aรบn mรกs rechazos, todo porque estoy aprendiendo a ponerle lรญmites a los demรกs y ya no me dejo embaucar como antes. Lo mejor de todo es que esta etapa de mi vida la estoy disfrutando bastante, gracias por pasar y comentar! ๐Ÿ’š

Pd.: La canciรณn es todo un clรกsico! pero nunca habรญa escuchado esta versiรณn rockera, muchas gracias jajaja me hiciste reir con ella
