Mononoke The Psychedelic (🇪🇸 | 🇺🇸)

  Saludos mis Otakus increíbles de @theanimerealm. Ayer le di la oportunidad a una película que tiene muy buen raking y unos efectos visuales hiper dinámicos pero también majestuosamente artístico por sus detalles tan profundos. Les hablaré de Mononoke: El fantasma bajo la lluvia.

  Como todo buen animé, siempre hay que reconocer que cada película o serie tiene sus cosas buenas pero también sus detalles no tan buenos. En este caso voy a escribir algunas líneas al respecto para plasmar las impresiones que me ha dejado este film.

  Tengo entendido que esta película es la continuación de una serie previamente lanzada en el 2006 como Spin-Off. Sin embargo al ver la película estrenada en el 2024 por Netflix, no conocía nada de este personaje, así que la vi sin saber que tenía un manga y una serie de animé.

  Y me alegró mucho saber que la película se puede ver tranquilamente sin necesidad de conocer previamente al personaje o su serie como tal. Es decir, la trama está muy bien llevada y sería como una versión especial del Animé, o al menos así me pareció. Y es que son muy pocos los films que pertenecen a series que pueden verse de manera independiente a esta.

  Y bueno, debo ser muy honesta con ustedes para darles mi opinión y primeras impresiones. La película en general me pareció como ver un Caleidoscopio Girando y Girando sin dejar de parar. Esto por la cantidad exagerada de tonos usados en TODA la película así como en cada escena, cada personaje y cada fondo de paisaje.

  Sin embargo, por este detalle tan esplendoroso fue que quise darle una oportunidad y me llevé muchas sorpresas. Yo soy alguien que se considera muy detallista, me fijo en todo, y cuando digo todo es TODO. En esta película está trabajado hasta el más mínimo detalle y eso me encantó. Lo que si no me gustó ni un poquito fue el exceso de colores que se usó en todo momento.

  Ver tantas escenas cargadas de color sin guardar contraste como tal y aparte en movimiento continuo para mí fue salirme literalmente de mi zona de confort y entrar a otro universo desconocido. Me mareé un par de veces y aunque detuve la película en ciertos momentos porque me ocupé con algo, esto me permitió descansar los ojos de tantos colores.

  Pero esto no es motivo para dejar de verla. El film definitivamente es completamente diferente, una obra de arte en movimiento según mi opinión, y aunque no me gusta marearme por ver una obra de arte, esto no le quita su belleza. Además la trama estuvo bastante buena, cargada de misterio y terror.

  Pienso que Netflix y sus creadores hicieron un trabajo estupendo. Uno de los detalles que más me agradó fue ese pequeño toque casi imperceptible de efecto de cuadro de pintura, para mí fue lo mejor de ver. Por toda su trama, sus personajes muy bien elaborados y por toda su mezcla psicodélica de colores, si no hubiera sido tan exagerada y cargada de movimiento, le daría sus 5 estrellitas completas pero por ese detalle le daré solamente:

Greetings, my amazing Otakus from @theanimerealm. Yesterday, I gave a movie a chance that has an excellent rating and hyper-dynamic visual effects, but is also majestically artistic due to its profound details. I'm talking about Mononoke: The Ghost in the Rain.

As with all good anime, it must be acknowledged that every film or series has its good points but also its not-so-good points. In this case, I will write a few lines about it to convey the impression this film has left on me.

I understand that this film is the continuation of a series previously released in 2006 as a spin-off. However, when I saw the film released in 2024 by Netflix, I knew nothing about this character, so I watched it without knowing that it had a manga and an anime series.

And I was very happy to learn that the film can be enjoyed without any prior knowledge of the character or the series itself. In other words, the plot is very well crafted and is like a special version of the anime, or at least that's how it seemed to me. Very few films based on series can be enjoyed independently of the series itself.

Well, I have to be completely honest with you to give you my opinion and first impressions. Overall, the film felt like watching a Kaleidoscope Spinning and Spinning without stopping. This is due to the exaggerated number of tones used throughout the entire film, as well as in each scene, each character, and each background landscape.

However, it was because of this splendid detail that I wanted to give it a chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. I consider myself to be very detail-oriented; I notice everything, and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. In this film, even the smallest details have been carefully crafted, and I loved that. What I didn't like at all was the excessive use of colors throughout.

Seeing so many scenes full of color without any contrast and in continuous motion was literally like stepping out of my comfort zone and entering another unknown universe. I felt dizzy a couple of times, and although I paused the movie at certain points because I was busy with something else, this allowed me to rest my eyes from so many colors.

But that's no reason to skip it. The film is completely different, a work of art in motion in my opinion, and although I don't like getting dizzy from watching a work of art, that doesn't detract from its beauty. Plus, the plot was pretty good, full of mystery and terror.

I think Netflix and its creators did a great job. One of the details I liked the most was that subtle touch of a painting effect; for me, it was the best part to watch. For its entire plot, its well-developed characters, and its psychedelic mix of colors, if it hadn't been so exaggerated and full of movement, I would give it a full 5 stars, but because of that detail, I'll only give it:
