Have you ever seen Rozen Maiden? (🇪🇸 | 🇺🇸)

  Saludos estimados Otakus de @theanimerealm. ¿Alguna vez viste Rozen Maiden? Yo recuerdo que la vi hace mucho tiempo, en el 2004 para ser exacta, cuando salió la primera temporada. Y bueno hurgando en el baúl de mis recuerdos me topé con este DVD que guardo con mucho cariño. Así que hoy les hablaré de esta serie.

  Como ya comenté, sólo vi la primera temporada, en aquel entonces como 3 veces porque me gustó mucho. Aunque la serie en sí tiene una historia sencilla, abarca algo de drama, buena acción y toques de comedia que te alegran el día si o sí.

  Recuerdo que cuando la vi esperaba con ansias la segunda temporada pero no había nada seguro, hasta que dejé de prestarle atención, salió un año después y me la perdí. La verdad es que en aquel entonces no tenía un buen internet ni contaba con una plataforma de Streaming para verlas de manera gratuita.

  Literalmente debía comprar los DVD para verlas y bueno yo no trabajaba en aquel tiempo. Así que me descuidé, le perdí el hilo y no supe más de esa serie hasta ahora, 21 años después, qué barbaridad! 🤣

  Y es que no sólo salió una segunda temporada sino que decidieron hacer 1 OVA de 2 capítulos, más un remake en 2013 con otro estudio de Animación, que por lo que investigué hizo un trabajo espléndido que vale la pena ver.

  Y es que para mí, esta fue una de esas series que no tuvo cierre y yo lo esperé mucho, tanto que se me olvidó 😅 pero como estamos en otra década, le volveré a dar una oportunidad para recordar muy buenos tiempos.

  Pero a todas estas, ¿de qué trata la serie en sí?, es muy sencillo. Estos personajes que ven en las fotos que comparto son muñecas de colección creadas por un hombre de nombre Rozen. Él las creó para que buscaran la perfección en un juego llamado Alice Game. En total son siete muñecas y cada una tiene poderes mágicos.

  Pero para activar dichos poderes necesitan un Medium o un dueño que tenga una conexión especial con ellas para darles la energía que necesitan y poder luchar cuando sea el momento indicado. Ellas no pelean como los Mechas, y aunque tienen poderes mágicos, al momento de una confrontación pelean de un modo elegante y sofisticado.

  La mayoría de ellas tienen buenas intenciones pero como todo animé existen los villanos y en este caso son dos muñequitas que están obsesionadas por ganar a toda costa para conseguir la perfección y la aceptación de su creador. La confrontación principal gira en torno de Shinku (la de rojo) y Suigintou (la de negro), quien fue la primera creación de Rozen.

  Como comenté anteriormente, la trama es bastante sencilla, Shinku aparece en la puerta de Jun, un jovencito bastante introvertido que le tiene miedo a socializar y pues no sabe de dónde le envían esta muñeca. Luego van apareciendo más de ellas y él se encarga de cuidarlas como si fueran sus pequeñas niñas.

  Algunas son más traviesas que otras y aunque hay momentos dramáticos porque las muñecas no entienden a los humanos como tal, la serie contiene en su mayoría capítulos que se podrían considerar de "relleno" pero la verdad es que hacen de la historia tan tierna que no parecen serlo y te motiva a seguirla viendo.

  Esta serie en conclusión, me resultó bastante entretenida, me agradó mucho en aquel entonces pero por no tener una trama profunda sino que funciona más para ver algo diferente y entretenido, de mi parte le otorgo a la serie:

And while rummaging through the trunk of my memories, I came across this DVD I keep with great affection. So today I will tell you about this series.

As I mentioned, I only watched the first season, about three times at the time, because I liked it so much. Although the series itself has a simple story, it encompasses some drama, good action, and touches of comedy that just make your day.

I remember when I saw it. I was looking forward to the second season, but nothing was certain until I stopped paying attention to it. It came out a year later, and I missed it. The truth is that back then, I didn't have good internet, nor did I have a Streaming platform to watch it for free.

I had to buy the DVDs to watch them, and well, I wasn't working at the time. So I got careless, lost track of it, and didn't hear any more about that series until now, 21 years later, how barbaric! 🤣

And is that not only a second season came out, but they decided to make 1 OVA of 2 chapters, plus a remake in 2013 with another Animation studio, which, from what I researched, did a splendid job that is worth watching.

And for me, this was one of those series that had no closure, and I waited for it a lot, so much that I forgot about it 😅 but since we are in another decade, I will give it a chance again to remember very good times.

But by the way, what is the series itself about? It's very simple. These characters you see in the pictures I'm sharing are collectible dolls created by a man named Rozen. He created them to seek perfection in a game called Alice Game. In total, there are seven dolls, and each one has magical powers.

However, to activate these powers, they need a Medium or an owner who has a special connection with them to give them the energy they need to fight when the time is right. They do not fight like Mechas, and although they have magical powers, they fight elegantly and sophisticatedly when confronted.

Most of them have good intentions, but like all anime, there are villains. In this case, they are two little dolls obsessed with winning at all costs to achieve perfection and the acceptance of their creator. The main confrontation revolves around Shinku (the one in red) and Suigintou (the one in black), Rozen's first creation.

As I mentioned before, the plot is quite simple, Shinku appears at the door of Jun, a rather introverted young man who is afraid to socialize and does not know where this doll was sent from. Then more of them appear, and he takes care of them as if they were his little girls.

Some are more mischievous than others, and although there are dramatic moments because the dolls do not understand humans as such, the series mostly contains chapters that could be considered “filler.” However, they make the story so tender that they do not seem to be, and motivate you to keep watching it.

This series, In conclusion, I found it quite entertaining. I liked it a lot at the time, but it didn't have a deep plot; it works more to see something different and entertaining. On my part, I give the series:
