Hauru no Ugoku Shiro: The Love Story I Long For (🇪🇸 | 🇺🇸)

  Saludos mis Otakus favoritos de @theanimerealm. Es un placer estar aquí con ustedes compartiendo esta reseña que hoy les traigo. Pueden creer que luego durante 21 años no había visto el film de Hauru no Ugoku Shiro o en español mejor conocido como El Increíble Castillo Vagabundo. Si, parece insólito pero no fue sino hasta ahora que logré verla y quiero darle mi opinión al respecto.

  Este film es uno de los tantos realizados por el famoso Estudio Ghibli, del cual soy fan y tengo unas cuantas películas favoritas, incluyendo esta luego de verla. Y es que más que ser una favorita, este film debería considerarse un Clásico de Ghibli, por contar una historia tan profunda de amor verdadero de manera sencilla y visual.

  La película cuenta la historia de Sophie, una chica que no se aprecia a sí misma ni se cree bonita. Vive en un mundo fantástico donde existen los magos, la magia y como todo lo malo también existe la guerra. Una disputa entre naciones por la desaparición repentina de un príncipe.

  Por cosas del destino Sophie conoce a un joven muy apuesto y amable que la ayuda a salir de un aprieto y la lleva a un lugar seguro. Luego se entera que se topó con el enigmático Howl, uno de los magos más incomprendidos y temidos del reino a quien se le acusa de robar los corazones de chicas hermosas.

  Sin embargo Sophie no se deja influenciar por estos chismes y ella simplemente no le da importancia a lo sucedido, sin embargo una bruja malvada le lanza una maldición a nuestra protagonista como muestra de celos por Howl al prestarle atención a esta chica. La maldición la hace lucir vieja y cansada, por lo que Sophie decide emprender una búsqueda de este misterioso mago que causó todo este alboroto.

  Este film lo tiene todo, aventura, amistad, drama, misterio pero sobre todo amor. Una historia de amor que evoluciona conforme pasan las escenas y lo hace de una manera tan natural. Además de que cada escena está cargada de detalles que demuestran el significado de un amor verdadero e incondicional.

  Ver este tipo de películas, simplemente te hace revivir la llama que creías apagada en tu alma, impulsándote a creer nuevamente en el amor. Como una chispa, te contagia al ver el corazón deslumbrante de Sophie, su forma de ser, que se entrega por completo sin esperar nada a cambio, es decir, me vi tan identificada con la protagonista que el film me robó unos cuantos suspiros.

  Uno de los aspectos que más me encantó fue ver la evolución entre ambos protagonistas. No sólo Sophie fue cambiando conforme transcurría la película sino también Howl. Esto para mí fue lo más lindo del film, ver cómo el amor puede cambiar a las personas, haciéndolas crecer y mejorar por completo.

  La compasión que mostró Sophie también me resultó admirable. Ver la seguridad en sí misma que desbordaba en cada paso que daba fue increíble de ver. Y pienso que esta película demuestra el poder tan inmenso que tiene el amor en sí.

  Como todo en la vida, cada persona tiene su lado oscuro, un lado que no queremos que nadie vea porque se sabe que al mostrarlo la otra persona se alejará enseguida y esto, por lo que vi en el film le pasó a Howl muchísimas veces. Sin embargo, el amor nos hace tolerantes, nos hace pacientes y sabios.

  Cualidades que a Sophie le sobraron, tal vez por su hechizo o a mi parecer, porque ella era así pero nunca explotó dichas cualidades hasta que conoció a Howl y sin miedo le abrió su corazón por completo. Ambos se fortalecieron mutuamente y se brindaron apoyo en todo momento. Por mostrar una historia así de linda le otorgo a la película:

Can you believe that after 21 years, I had not seen the Hauru no Ugoku Shiro or in English better known as The Incredible Wandering Castle. Yes, it seems unusual, but it wasn't until now that I managed to see i,t and I want to give you my opinion.

This film is one of the many made by the famous Studio Ghibli, of which I am a fan and have a few favorite films, including this one, after watching it. And more than being a favorite, this film should be considered a Ghibli Classic, for telling such a deep story of true love simply and visually.

The film tells the story of Sophie, a girl who does not appreciate herself and does not think she is pretty. She lives in a fantastic world where there are wizards, magic, and, like everything bad, there is also war. A dispute between nations over the sudden disappearance of a prince.

As fate would have it Sophie meets a handsome and kind young man who helps her out of a tight spot and takes her to safety. Then she learns that she has stumbled upon the enigmatic Howl, one of the most misunderstood and feared wizards in the kingdom, who is accused of stealing the hearts of beautiful girls.

However, Sophie is not influenced by this gossip and she simply does not give importance to what happened. An evil witch casts a curse on our protagonist as a sign of jealousy for Howl by paying attention to this girl. The curse makes her look old and tired, so Sophie decides to set out on a quest to find this mysterious wizard who caused all this commotion.

This film has it all, adventure, friendship, drama, mystery, but most of all love. A love story that evolves as the scenes go by, and it does it in such a natural way. Plus, every scene is loaded with details that show the meaning of true and unconditional love.

Watching this kind of movie simply makes you revive the flame that you thought was extinguished in your soul, pushing you to believe in love again. Like a spark, you are infected when you see the dazzling heart of Sophie, her way of being, who gives herself completely without expecting anything in return; that is, I found myself so identified with the protagonist that the film stole a few sighs from me.

One of the aspects I loved the most was seeing the evolution between the two main characters. Not only was Sophie changing as the film went on, but also Howl. For me was the most beautiful thing about the film, to see how love can change people, making them grow and improve completely.

The compassion Sophie showed was also admirable to me. To see the self-assurance that overflowed from every step she took was incredible to watch. And I think this film demonstrates the immense power of love itself.

Like everything in life, each person has a dark side, a side that we don't want anyone to see because we know that if we show it, the other person will turn away immediately, and this, from what I saw in the film, happened to Howl many times. However, love makes us tolerant, it makes us patient, and wise.

Qualities that Sophie had plenty of, perhaps because of her spell, or in my opinion, because she was like that, but she never exploited those qualities until she met Howl and fearlessly opened her heart to him completely. They both strengthened each other and gave each other support at all times. For showing such a cute story, I award the movie:
