Companion: The Sample of an Artificial Love

  Feliz Domingo estimados Hivers que dan vida a la Comunidad #MoviesAndTVShows. Hoy quiero hablarles de una película que quería ver apenas anunciaban su estreno en los cines, se trata de Compañera Perfecta. Imagino que ya muchos la vieron pero como siempre, saben que no me gusta dar Spoilers, así que si no la has visto, puedes leer tranquilo.

  Para ser honesta no sé por qué existe tanto miedo sobre la Inteligencia Artificial, futuros Robots que se "revelan" ante su usuario cobrando vida y voluntad propia. Este film estrenado recientemente se podría decir que es una más del montón con este tema pero al final resulta ser diferente y destaca entre las mejores (según mi criterio).

  Aquí cuentan la historia bajo del punto de vista del Robot y todo lo que debe hacer para su supervivencia. La película de entrada llamó mi atención por ver de nuevo al galán de Jack Quaid actuar nuevamente, pero ¿quién es él? Si has visto la serie de The Boys, sabrás de quien hablo.

  Y es que esta película tuvo varios aspectos que me encantaron y que valen la pena ser resaltados. Uno de ellos es cómo abordaron el tema de la Inteligencia Artificial y esto de los Robots Autónomos. Me gustó la intriga que se muestra en todo momento, que la verdad, de no ser por el tráiler, no hubiera sabido que la protagonista era un robot.

  Segundo, ver a Rupert Friend compartir la pantalla junto al gran elenco elegido, (que por mi parte, sólo reconocí a dos de los actores, los demás ni pendiente). En esta ocasión Rupert hizo un papel exuberante, diferente y pues llamaba mucho la atención a simple vista, ese bigote que le agregaron me encantó. Su papel estuvo de lujo y destacó bastante como "mafioso".

  Otra característica que me encantó fue que conecté con la protagonista desde el inicio, sobre todo con la secuencia de escenas donde te dan a entender que sucede algo de trasfondo y que todo el mundo sabe algo que tu no. Bueno ese sentimiento quedó plasmado en la pantalla por la gran actriz Sophie Thatcher, de quien, luego de verla actuar aquí me volví fan.

  Me agradó mucho también cómo fue llevada la trama de manera peculiar, dando ciertas vueltas inesperadas logrando brindar unas cuantas sorpresas para quien disfrute de la película. En cuanto a la actuación Jack Quaid, me parece que hizo un estupendo trabajo, y lo hizo tan bien que aborrecí su personaje, él es todo lo que no se desea como pareja.

  Esta película, más que mostrarte el mismo tema trillado pero a la vez diferente de lo que puede llegar a ser una "rebelión" de la Inteligencia Artificial, es un claro ejemplo de que si la tecnología avanza, nosotros como seres humanos caeremos al nivel de insensibilidad que muestran aquí con estos seres inteligentes.

  Al final no resultó ser un film más de ciencia ficción sino una muestra verdadera de la naturaleza humana adaptándose a lo que de seguro en unos pocos años estaremos experimentando. Lo que me da más razones a mí de cuidarme más de las personas y confiar más en la tecnología, esta simplemente nunca te va a defraudar, sino que te hará mejor la vida. Today I want to tell you about a movie that I wanted to see as soon as they announced its release in theaters, it's about Companion. I imagine many of you have already seen it but as always, you know I don't like to give Spoilers, so if you haven't seen it, you can read it at your leisure.

  To be honest, I don't know why there is so much fear about Artificial Intelligence, future Robots that “reveal” themselves to their users by coming to life and taking on a will of their own. This recently released film could be said to be just another one with this theme, but in the end, it turns out to be different and stands out among the best (in my opinion).

  Here they tell the story from the Robot's point of view and everything he must do to survive. The movie immediately caught my attention for seeing Jack Quaid starring again, but who is he? If you've seen The Boys series, you'll know who I'm talking about.

  And this movie had several aspects that I loved and that are worth to be highlighted. One of them is how they approached the subject of Artificial Intelligence and the Autonomous Robots. I liked the intrigue that is shown at all times, and to tell the truth, if it wasn't for the trailer, I wouldn't have known that the main character was a robot.

  Secondly, to see Rupert Friend share the screen with the great cast (I only recognized two of the actors, the rest I didn't even notice). On this occasion Rupert played an exuberant role, different, and he called a lot of attention at first sight, I loved that mustache that they added to him. His role was luxurious and he stood out as a “mafioso”.

  Another feature that I loved was that I connected with the main character from the beginning, especially with the sequence of scenes where you are given to understand that something is going on behind the scenes and that everyone knows something that you don't. Well, that feeling was captured on screen by the great actress Sophie Thatcher, of whom, after seeing her act here I became a fan.

  I was also very pleased with how the plot was handled peculiarly, taking some unexpected twists and turns and providing a few surprises for those who enjoy the movie. As for the acting Jack Quaid, I thought he did a great job, and he did it so well that I loathed his character, he is everything you don't want as a partner.

  This movie, rather than showing you the same trite but at the same time different theme of what can become a “rebellion” of Artificial Intelligence, is a clear example that if technology advances, we as human beings will fall to the level of insensitivity shown here with these intelligent beings.

  In the end, it turned out to be not just another sci-fi film but a true sample of human nature adapting to what we will surely be experiencing in a few years. This gives me all the more reason to take more care of people and trust technology more, it will simply never let you down, and it will make your life better. For my part, I give it its due:
