There is something powerful about handwriting. Not only because of its aesthetic appeal, but also because it subliminally conveys emotions. Not even the author is aware of this. I love your diaries, following your wandering thoughts and discovering the world around you through your unique, poetic gaze.
I hope you enjoyed the Picasso exhibition; he is one of our most renowned modern artists.

It's a very interesting exhibition, presenting his work from a different perspective. I was especially pleased to see Weeping Woman up close, I'd seen it before, but I think it had been behind a barrier so you couldn't examine the brushwork.

Weeping Woman, (1937), by Pablo Picasso, in The Guardian, (September 2025).

While I was there, peering at every inch, another woman took a photograph of me and the picture, because I was "taking so long" 😂.

🤣 You reminded me of when I saw El Bosco's Garden of Delights. I spent about 15 minutes admiring every inch of the painting and my companion went for a walk in the meantime. Nobody interrupted me. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy one of my favourite paintings for myself for so long.

I didn't know this Picasso painting. I like it. I wouldn't mind having it hanging in the living room. 😁
