I have lived in Ezeiza for more than 20 years and I didn't know about this house, which they say is haunted. I travel to many places on my bike, but this place was on my to-do list and this time I was able to finally visit it.

! [Spanish] Hace más de 20 años que vivo en Ezeiza y no conocía esta casa que según dicen está embrujada. Recorro por muchos lugares con mi bicicleta, pero este lugar lo tenía entre mis pendientes y en esta ocasión pude cumplir en conocerla.

      It was a short but intense outing. My friend Alejandro and I had come from somewhere else, and at his insistence, we went to see the place. The afternoon was drawing to a close, but we plucked up our courage and went anyway. It was a somewhat cloudy day, but we were able to walk around comfortably.

! [Spanish] Fue una salida corta pero intensa. Veníamos de otro lugar con mi amigo Alejandro y por insistencia de él fuimos a conocer el lugar. La tarde ya caía e igualmente tomamos coraje y acudimos. Día un tanto nublado, pero que se podía transitar tranquilamente.

      There are many videos on the internet, which is why I wanted to see it for myself. We were motivated by a story my friend Braian told me. He went there at night with some other guys and told me that, since it's a private place and entry is prohibited, the police suddenly showed up and, of course, they managed to hide. When the police left, they heard a “shhhhh” sound that was unlike anything they had ever heard before. They ran away without looking back, and after a couple of kilometers, the sound disappeared.

! [Spanish] En internet existen muchos videos y es por eso que quería conocerlo. Nos motivó una anécdota que me contó mi amigo Braian. Él fue, pero de noche con otros pibes y me contó que al ser un lugar privado y está prohibido el ingreso, de repente llega la policía y por supuesto atinaron a esconderse. Cuando estos se fueron escucharon un "shhhhh", que no se parecía nada que conocieran. Salieron corriendo sin mirar atrás y luego de un par de kilómetros el sonido desapareció.

      I have many more stories, but what I really like to share are my perceptions and experiences in that place. Personally, I didn't experience anything strange, but I felt a terribly heavy energy.

! [Spanish] Tengo mucha más historias, pero en realidad lo que siempre me gusta contar son mis percepciones y mi experiencia en el lugar. En lo particular no viví nada extraño, pero sentí una energía terriblemente pesada.

      A strange atmosphere, a heavy silence that made me feel uneasy, but also curious. Maybe it was the breeze blowing through the house, or something else. And the funny thing is that there are videos on the internet showing moving shadows, unexplained noises, and doors that open by themselves.

! [Spanish] Un aire raro, un silencio que pesaba y me dio cosita, pero también curiosidad. Será la brisa paseándose por adentro o algo más. Y lo lindo es que hay videos en internet que muestran sombras moviéndose, ruidos inexplicables y puertas que se abren solas.

      Fortunately, I didn't experience any of that, but I was able to capture images that speak for themselves. A place worthy of horror movies, but we were experiencing it firsthand.

! [Spanish] Menos mal que nada de eso viví, pero sí pude capturar imágenes que hablan por sí solas. Un lugar digno de películas de terror, pero que lo estábamos viviendo en primera persona.

      I don't want to scare you, but rather share the gossip, as we say in Argentina, about this place that awakens something inside you. It throws you off balance and makes you wonder what's there.

! [Spanish] No quiero dar miedo, sino compartir el chisme, como decimos en Argentina, de este lugar que despierta algo adentro. Te saca del ritmo y te hace preguntarte qué hay ahí.

      The images bear witness to the contrast between the gray day and the murkiness of the place. With every step I took through the place, I thought about the story Braian had told me. As the house was quite damaged, we had to walk very carefully, as we could sink and end up who knows where.

! [Spanish] Las imágenes dan testimonio y el contraste del día gris con lo turbio del lugar. En cada paso que daba por el lugar, pensaba en la historia del Braian que había contado. Al estar bastante dañada la casa, debíamos caminar con mucho cuidado, ya que podíamos hundirnos y parar, quién sabe donde.

      It is clearly an unusual place, and for some reason, it remains intact and cannot be demolished. According to history and gossip, the large house dates back to 1800.

! [Spanish] Es evidente que es un lugar atípico y que no sé por qué razón, el lugar sigue intacto y hasta ahora no lo pueden demoler. Según cuenta la historia y el chisme, la gran casa data del año 1800.

      To get there, we had to cross a field because the main entrance, which obviously used to have trees and everything we all know, was no longer in use. That's why we entered through a parallel street, and honestly, it wasn't that easy to get there.

! [Spanish] Para llegar al lugar tuvimos que atravesar un campo, porque la entrada principal, que obviamente tenía en su momento con arboledas y los que todos conocemos, estaba en desuso. Es por eso que entramos por una calle paralela y sinceramente no fue tan fácil llegar.

      At one point, while we were taking pictures on the terrace, we realized that our bikes were not where we had left them. Imagine how scared we were up there.

! [Spanish] En un momento, mientras realizábamos las capturas en la terraza, nos percatamos que nuestras bicicletas no estaban, donde lo dejamos. Imagínese el miedo en las alturas que nos agarró.

      When we went downstairs, the bikes were there, but we couldn't see them from the angle of the terrace. Or at least that's what we thought to ease our fears.

! [Spanish] Cuando bajamos, las bicicletas estaban en el lugar, solo que por el ángulo de la terraza no lo podíamos ver. O por lo menos eso fue lo que pensamos para mitigar nuestros miedos.

      I like exploring abandoned places, and I have several on my list in this area. I feel that they are part of history and that we should visit them to bear witness to their present state.

! [Spanish] Me gusta conocer lugares abandonados y tengo varios pendientes por la zona. Siento que son parte de la historia y que debemos visitarlo para dar testimonio del presente de los mismos.

      All the details, from the wooden floors, the fireplaces that kept the house at the ideal temperature, the water tank, the cistern, and other classic features of a seemingly normal house.

! [Spanish] Todos los detalles, desde los pisos de madera, los hogares que mantenían la casa a temperatura ideal, el tanque de agua, el aljibe y demás lugares clásicos de una casa aparentemente normal.

      The story goes that only one family lived there for a year and no one else. It is a beautiful house that was surely built by very wealthy people. I don't want to go on too long with the story, as I would rather you enjoy the photos.
