Salve, folks! As promised in the post for the Splinterlands Art Contest, here’s the exceptional match of this rare gladiator, Liza Fox, from the Death element.
It was in the last brawl where I went 8-1—absolutely epic!

The Match

I love Going the Distance—only archers on the field, that rain of arrows.
On the other hand, those who follow me know I hate Aimless—Scattershot sucks—I despise this randomness of not knowing where you're shooting. Imagine the scene: an arena where summoners conjure their warriors. In this case, all archers, not a single hidden knife, dagger, or axe in sight. 😉 They draw their bows, crossbows, whatever, and fire arrows at random... 😁😡 I hate it!
Our legendary units fled the fight, so no big stars in this match.

But our heroine isn’t common or epic—she’s rare. Liza Fox was summoned by the Astral Entity, with Gargoya Devil in the frontline (Close Range is a fundamental skill in these matches, and our gargoyle usually holds the frontline well with its Flying).
Dhampir Stalker, always precise, follows, accompanied by Ravenhood Warden, who will distribute two extra points of Armor to the entire team (what magic is this? Or maybe amulets? 🧐), our gladiator and her bloodthirst next, the small Meriput Slinger and his sling that reduces the attack speed of the targeted enemy—as if hitting their knee—🤓—and the fearless Rune Crafter in the backline, with its unstoppable fury against Taunt.

@rukien came with General Sloan, obviously exploiting ranged damage, so we’ll have another classic Life vs. Death. A gargoyle in the frontline, like us, the epic Great Porcupine (another unit with Close Range), War Pegasus flying and shredding armors, Venari Crystalsmith healing, Pelacor Arbalest with its Double Strike dealing six damage per turn, and Primologist blasting the backline.

A classic battle of Life and Death...

Activated Abilities

20 damage from the opponent per turn, while we have "only" 15 initially.
We removed their shields, reinforced ours, and we’re ready for battle.

In the gargoyle duel, ours dodges the opponent's attack.
Liza Fox will take down Primologist in the first strike, before it can attack, removing four powerful damage points from the enemy and activating her Bloodlust.

First kill:

Ravenhood gets taken down and resurrected by the Astral Entity, renewing armors—simply perfect.
Dhampir Stalker takes down the opponent’s gargoyle, and we move to the second round.

Round 2

I already consider we have a clear advantage here. Six against four, our fearless gladiator, everyone intact except the revived one…

Liza Fox takes down Crystalsmith, activating her Bloodlust once again.

Second kill:

Round 3

Meriput takes down Pelacor, Ravenhood misses its attack, but Dhampir takes down Great Porcupine, and Rune Crafter leaves War Pegasus with just one Health point.

At the start of Round 3, Liza Fox, fully buffed, shoots the dying Pegasus with six ranged damage.

Third kill:

Liza Fox ends the match spectacularly—all attacks resulted in kills. If there were still enemies, it would be 7 damage dice and nine health…

Foi na última brawl em que fiz 8-1, brabíssimo!

Adoro Going the distance, só arqueiros em campo, aquela chuva de flechas.
Por outro lado, quem me segue sabe que odeio Aimless, scatershot sucks, detesto essa aleatoriedade de não saber pra onde se está atirando? Imagine a cena: uma arena onde os invocadores conjuram/convocam seus guerreiros. Neste caso, todos arqueiros, nem uma faca, adaga ou machado escondido 😉. Sacam seus arcos, bestas, o que seja, e lançam flechas a esmo... 😁😡 Destesto!
Nossas unidades lendárias fugiram da briga, então sem grandes estrela nessa partida.

Mas nossa heróina não é comum ou épica, é rara. Liza Fox foi invocada pela Entidade Astral, com Gargoya Devil na frontline (close range é uma habilidade fundamentas nessas partidas, e nosso gárcgula costuma segurar bem a frontline com seu Flying).
Dhampir Stalker, sempre certeiro vem em seguida, acompanhado por Ravenhood Warden que vai distribuir mais dois pontos de Armadura pra todo o time (que magia é essa? Ou serão amuletos? 🧐), nossa gladiadora e sua sede por sangue na sequência, o pequeno Meriput Slinger e sua funda que reduz a velocidade de ataque do adversário alvejado - como se atingisse o joelho inimigo 🤓 - e o brabíssimo Rune Crafter na backline, com sua fúria emplacável contra Taunt.

@rukien veio de General Sloan, obviamente explorando dano ranged, então teremos mais um clássico Life x Death. Um gárgola na frontline, como nós, o épico Great Porcupine (outra unidade com Close Range) , War Pegasus voando e destruindo armaduras, Venari Crystalsmith curando, Pelacor Arbalest com seu Double strike batendo seis pontos de dano por turno, e Primologist com blast na backline.

Meriput abate Pelacor, Ravenhood erra seu ataque, mas Dhampir abate Great Porcupine, e Rune Crafter vai deixar War Pegasus com apenas um ponto de Saúde.

No início do round 3, Liza Fox, buffadíssima, vai flechar o Pegasus moribundo com seis pontos de dano ranged.

Terceiro abate:

Liza fox encerra a partida de maneira espetacular, todos os ataques resultaram em abates. Caso ainda houvessem adversários seriam 7 pontos de Dado e nove de saúde...
