Feast People die

How are you, friends? Best wishes to you all, wherever you are.
Indonesia boasts so many customs and cultures. Indonesia's vastness creates many regions and ethnic groups with distinct cultures and traditions.
A few days ago, a funeral service was held in my area. This was held because the month of Ramadan was approaching. The bereaved families held a funeral service for their deceased relatives. They hoped that their deceased relatives would find a fitting place in the afterlife.
By mutual agreement, they pooled their funds as alms to support this event. There was no obligation on the community; anyone who could afford it was welcome to donate to the funeral service for the deceased.
The funeral service was held directly at the cemetery. Cooking was done together and then enjoying the meal together. Afterward, they recited dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and prayed for the departed souls to be placed in a fitting place in heaven.
This event was led by a tgk (leader of the deceased), or imam menasah (leader of the deceased). Men, women and children all sat cross-legged on mats that had been spread out on the large ground. Solemnly agree with every prayer read by the priest. After praying, continue to enjoy the feast together.
