Tornato e provo a restare!

Ed eccomi!

Come da titolo sono tornato e, stavolta, proverò a restare!

Non prometto nulla per quel che riguarda la cadenza di pubblicazione ma, visto che tra qualche giorno faremo il nostro ritorno in Calabria e inizieremo una vita nuova e comunque diversa e, visto che ho la necessità oltre che la voglia di tenere un diario... Quale occasione migliore?

Hive continuerà a essere il mio blog e il mio diario personale e anche professionale.

Non credo ci sia migliore strumento per tener traccia di questo nostro nuovo inizio!

Credo però che sia il caso, prima di tutto, di aggiornarti un po', in fondo è da parecchio tempo che manco, no?

In questo momento ci troviamo a Roma, Samuele ha effettuato il suo intervento e ora è in convalescenza.
E' stato in ospedale per circa una decina di giorni tra il "pre" e il "post" operazione; tutto è andato bene anche se non si è, come al solito, fatto mancare le complicazioni.

Il nostro Nanetto è stato molto esigente da questo punto di vista, questa volta il "Doc" ci ha spiegato che gli ha a tutti gli effetti smontato il cuore!

Se le complicazioni non sono mancate, di contro Samu ha evidenziato dei tempi di recupero davvero impressionanti, il chirurgo stesso è rimasto stupito!

Ha trascorso 3 giorni in terapia intensiva e 5 giorni al reparto di cardiologia del "Bambin Gesù" per poi essere dimesso e tornare a casa.

Considerando che ha affrontato un intervento durato oltre otto ore, che è stato collegato alla macchina "cuore-polmoni" e tutta una serie di altre circostanze si può dire che si è ripreso in dei tempi favvero da record.

Sono trascorsi ora 11 giorni dalle sua dimissioni, venerdì avremo una ulteriore visita di controllo e, nell'occasione, molto probabilmente gli verranno levate tutte le medicazioni.

Quasi sicuramente ci verrà dato poi il via libera per tornare a Reggio Calabria.

Secondo quelli che sono i piani trascorreremo ancora qualche giorno qui nella Capitale e il 23 o il 24 di giugno raggiungeremo la nostra residenza.

Una volta tornati a casa riprenderò a pieno ritmo le mia varie attività, quindi il Poker (Spoiler, tutto procede a gonfie vele), il nuovo lavoro presso la casa di cura che ancora non è cominciato (da quando mi hanno assunto è praticamente passato un anno e la struttura ancora non è pronta) ma dovrebbe partire a breve e tutta una serie di altre attività collaterali che nei prossimi post Ti racconterò.

Visto che punto a tornare attivo ho provveduto a ridurre in modo corposo le mie deleghe in modo da poter aumentare il mio potere di voto, questo ci tengo a dirlo perché è giusto tornare a contribuire alla comunità anche in questa maniera.

O almeno, io la penso così!

Credo per oggi di essere giunto al termine, prima però ci tengo a ringraziare di vero cuore tutte le persone che in questi 21 mesi difficili e intensi ci sono stati vicino; non posso naturalmente esimermi dal ringraziare tutti i medici e gli infermieri che si sono presi cura del nostro Nanetto, sarò sempre riconoscente e in debito con queste persone che ci hanno praticamente regalato nuova vita.

Permettetemi di dedicare un pensiero anche a Marley, Grigino e Pulce i nostri "pelosetti" che, da lassù, hanno vegliato sul nostro Amato Figlio, sono stati i suoi Angeli Custodi e lo saranno per tutto il resto del suo percorso di vita... Diciamo che da questo punto di vista il nostro Bimbo è "coperto" alla grandissima!

Bene, a questo punto ci possiamo salutare, con l'impegno naturalmente di risentirci nei prossimi giorni.

As the title says, I'm back and, this time, I'll try to stay!

I don't promise anything about the frequency of publication but, since in a few days we will return to Calabria and begin a new and different life and, since I have the need as well as the desire to keep a diary... What better occasion?

Hive will continue to be my blog and my personal and also professional diary.

I don't think there is a better tool to keep track of this new beginning of ours!

However, I think it's time, first of all, to update you a bit, after all it's been a long time since I've been away, right?

We are currently in Rome, Samuele has undergone his surgery and is now recovering.
He was in the hospital for about ten days between the "pre" and "post" operation; everything went well even if, as usual, there was no shortage of complications.

Our Nanetto was very demanding from this point of view, this time the "Doc" explained to us that he had effectively dismantled his heart!

While there was no shortage of complications, on the other hand Samu showed truly impressive recovery times, the surgeon himself was amazed!

He spent 3 days in intensive care and 5 days in the cardiology department of the "Bambin Gesù" before being discharged and returning home.

Considering that he underwent an operation that lasted over eight hours, that he was connected to the "heart-lung" machine and a whole series of other circumstances, we can say that he recovered in truly record time.

It has now been 11 days since his discharge, on Friday we will have another check-up and, on that occasion, all the dressings will most likely be removed.

We will almost certainly then be given the green light to return to Reggio Calabria.

According to the plans, we will spend a few more days here in the capital and on June 23 or 24 we will reach our residence.

Once we return home I will resume my various activities at full speed, so Poker (Spoiler: everything is going swimmingly), the new job at the nursing home that has not yet started (it has been practically a year since they hired me and the facility is still not ready) but should start soon and a whole series of other collateral activities that I will tell you about in the next posts.

Since I am aiming to return active, I have taken steps to significantly reduce my delegations in order to be able to increase my voting power, I want to say this because it is right to return to contributing to the community in this way too.

Or at least, that's what I think!

I think I've come to the end for today, but first I want to thank from the bottom of my heart all the people who have been close to us in these 21 difficult and intense months; I obviously cannot avoid thanking all the doctors and nurses who have taken care of our Nanetto, I will always be grateful and indebted to these people who have practically given us a new life.

Allow me to also dedicate a thought to Marley, Grigino and Pulce our "furry friends" who, from up there, have watched over our Beloved Son, have been his Guardian Angels and will be for the rest of his life... Let's say that from this point of view our Baby is "covered" very well!

Well, at this point we can say goodbye, with the commitment of course to hear from you again in the next few days.
