And here comes my WEEKEND EXPERIENCE Friday!

I always look forward to Friday, a day of real pleasure for me; I've been looking forward to today's one especially because, in addition to the usual post that gives me fun but also moments of reflection, we went to do the specific checks on Samuele's heart... Everything is going great, cheers!

As far as my weekly choice of writing is concerned, I tried to give you a clue with the cover image, but I think you don't understand much; that object in the photo is the only thing I found that gives the impression of having a long nose, a bit like Pinocchio's when he tells lies ...

Now you understand, I know well eh eh!

For the record, that hedgehog is one of the famous ceramics of Seminara that takes up the jars of the past which are nothing more than water bottles used on long pilgrimages.

But let's come to us!
Between losing the ability to lie forever or having to believe everything I'm told I would choose the first option without hesitation.

In my existence I have never been a proponent of lies and lies and I have always maintained that one can live very well in the truth by being honest, clear and crystal clear; someone says that in reality small exceptions for a good purpose would be allowed in life but, as I see it, an uncomfortable truth that can also hurt is better than a lie told for a good purpose.

My choice motivates itself and, I confess, it was also very simple to make; in general I don't tell lies so for me, not lying forever wouldn't be anything complicated and nothing I don't already do.

Sure maybe the exception is when I'm on the poker table and I try some bluff but I don't know if that can be defined as a true lie; it must also be said that as a very solid player I tend to bluff very little eh eh!

Among other things, this starting point for writing has led me to many reflections.

First of all, I think that between the two options, the second is the one that can actually cause more damage to a person; believing everything that is said would be a bit like no longer having control over your life since, if you believe, it means that you are putting your trust and consequently you are willing to accept everything that is proposed to you.

It may be that by now I'm a bit disillusioned but I don't think I could live in the full trust of all the people I meet, maybe as a boy yes, today in reality there are more people I don't trust.

My second thought, which is actually also a wish, is to see fewer people in the world who lie; I am convinced that the truth is a choice to be pursued and one of the main paths to follow.

I don't know why we should be faced with this choice and I can't imagine what the percentage might be between the two options, what I do know is that surely, even if we were 50% and 50%, there would be more sincerity in the world .

Nowadays lying is adopted in an almost normal way, just think of all the promises politicians make to win an office; of course, thinking about it well, even the people who believe in everything are many since there are many who trust the cheap rulers around (of course I always refer to my country where I have direct experience).

It is also a real thing that, as Vasco's song that I have inserted in this post says, "the truth can sometimes be a mistake"; it can be because it is expensive and saying it in certain situations leads us to suffer or perhaps to lose something or someone important, in my opinion, however, it is better to make a mistake in the truth than to do something that may appear to seem right but which is accompanied by a lie.

Obviously life is made up of choices, everything always revolves around that, important decisions are almost never simple but you have to make them because, to make a life shining, you have to do what is necessary; it remains firm that, as in all things, there are exceptions, deviations and situations that cannot be explained and that do not in themselves have a right or wrong solution.
