And here I am ready, like every Monday, to answer the curiosities of @mypathtofire and Ecency in the usual post.

This week we talk about walks!

I want to start by saying that the place where I love to walk is not only suitable for summer walks; I use it all year round and indeed, on winter evenings with a little drizzle and rough seas, it relaxes me and helps me reflect even more than in the summer.

I'm talking about the seaside road of Reggio Calabria, officially known as "Lungomare Falcomatà".

This is a location where I love to walk both alone and in company; of course most of the time when I walk along the seafront I'm with my beloved Reny, however, it happens that on some occasions he reserves me some solitary walks.

I confess that it happens very rarely now, but it does happen sometimes.

I love looking at the sea and listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, while walking it is something that relaxes me a lot and gives me serenity; as mentioned I like even more the sea in winter with the sound of stormy waves and I also managed to find a photo ...

In the cover image you can see a glimpse of this beautiful part of my city; it is a photo taken in a moment of good weather and during the day, the most beautiful photos of this location, however, in my opinion, are the night ones, unfortunately I could not find any among my shots, however, I recovered this beautiful image stolen during a summer walk...

There are many things I like about this place, first of all together with Corso Garibaldi it is really the typical walk of us from Reggio; in the summer on warm evenings, to get some fresh air it is inevitable to take a stroll and see the shops on the street and then go down to the via marina to enjoy the sea breeze.

Surely the best times to enjoy this fantastic landscape are early in the morning, in the evening when the sun is about to set and at night which, as far as I'm concerned, is the best time.

Another thing that is inevitable for a Reggio citizen during a summer walk in via marina is ice cream; yes, we walk enjoying the sea and enjoying a delicious cone or, even better, a giant brioches with ice cream, the places to buy them are strictly the "Sottozero" ice cream shop or the "Cesare" ice cream shop Where I got the one you can see in the next image...

Are you wondering which flavor I chose? For me ice cream is only coffee flavored sometimes, as in this case, I accompany it with whipped cream.

Well this is my summer walk but, I can safely say that it is also that of most of the citizens of Reggio Calabria, everyone has their favorite moment of the day, perhaps their favorite season and climatic conditions but, all true Reggini they are in love with via Marina!

Ed eccomi pronto, come ogni lunedì, per dar risposta alle curiosità di @mypathtofire e di Ecency nel consueto post.

Questa settimana parliamo di passeggiate!

Voglio iniziare dicendo che, il posto in cui amo camminare, non è adatto solo alle passeggiate estive; io lo sfrutto tutto l'anno e anzi, nelle sere invernali con un po' di pioggerellina e il mare grosso, mi rilassa e mi aiuta a riflettere ancor di più che in estate.

Sto parlando della via marina di Reggio Calabria, conosciuta ufficialmente con il nome di "Lungomare Falcomatà".

Questa è una location nella quale amo camminare sia da solo che in compagnia; naturalmente il più delle volte quando passeggio sul lungomare sono insieme alla mia amata Reny, capita però, che in alcune occasioni mi riservi delle passeggiate solitarie.

Confesso che ormai succede molto raramente, però a volte succede.

Amo guardare il mare e ascoltare il rumore delle onde che si infrangono sul bagnasciuga, mentre passeggio è qualcosa che mi rilassa tantissimo e mi regala serenità; come detto mi piace ancor di più il mare d'inverno con il rumore dei cavalloni in tempesta e sono anche riuscito a trovare una foto...

Nell'immagine di copertina puoi vedere uno scorcio di questa bellissima parte della mia città; è una foto scattata in un momento di bel tempo e durante il giorno, le foto più belle di questa location però, secondo me, sono quelle notturne, purtroppo non sono riuscito a trovarne tra i miei scatti ho però recuperato questa bellissima immagine rubata proprio durante una passeggiata estiva...

Di questo luogo le cose che mi piacciono sono tante, innanzitutto insieme al corso Garibaldi è proprio la tipica passeggiata di noi reggini; in estate nelle serate calde, per prendere un po' di fresco è immancabile fare quattro passi e vedere i negozi sul corso e poi scendere sulla via marina per godere della brezza marina.

Sicuramente gli orari migliori per godere di questo fantastico paesaggio sono la mattina presto, la sera quando sta per tramontare il sole e la notte che, per quel che mi riguarda, è il momento migliore.

Altra cosa che per un reggino è immancabile durante la passeggiata estiva in via marina è il gelato; si, noi camminiamo godendo del mare e gustando un buonissimo cono o, ancora meglio, una brioches gigante con gelato, i posti dove acquistarle sono rigorosamente la gelateria "Sottozero" o la gelateria "Cesare" Dove io ho preso quella che puoi vedere nell'immagine successiva...

Ti stai chiedendo che gusto ho scelto? Per me il gelato è solo al caffè a volte, come in questo caso, lo accompagno con della panna montata.

Bene questa è la mia passeggiata estiva ma, posso tranquillamente dire che è anche quella della maggior parte dei cittadini di Reggio Calabria, ognuno ha il suo momento preferito della giornata, magari la sua stagione e le sue condizioni climatiche preferite ma, tutti i Reggini veri sono innamorati della via Marina!
