Can Love Survive Financial Strain

Love is truly a beautiful thing, but what a lot of people have failed to understand is the beauty of love doesn’t shield it from the inevitable challenges that life brings our way. Love faces different challenges, and financial stress is also one of the most common challenges love goes through in different relationships. With the way bills keep piling up every day, the cost of living keeps rising every second like dough that's mixed with yeast, and the pressure to always provide and make sure our loved ones are okay can seriously weigh heavily on even the strongest of relationships.

But does love fade when the bills arrive?

Hmmm! This answer, I must say, is very complex and this also depends on individuals.

While financial strain can push a relationship to its limits, I don't think love itself fades away. I know this might be hard for someone to swallow, but I personally don't think genuine and sincere love really fades away. What I believe fades away more often than not is the patience, understanding, and real communication that couples used to share, that they now need to navigate through whatever tough times they may be facing together.

I believe that we all must agree that a real relationship should be built on trust, commitment, and mutual support, and with such healthy foundations, any relationship can withstand any challenges it faces, including financial stress, but this solely depends on both partners if only they are willing to work through it together.

I think why it does seem like love fades, is because not everyone has the same capacity to endure things. People have different ways they handle stress, and the same thing goes for the weight of financial responsibilities; for some it's usually too much for them to bear such a burden.

And this doesn’t really mean they don’t love their partner anymore; it just might simply mean that this set of persons has reached their breaking point. While there are others, on the other hand, that usually find ways to rally together with their partners, brainstorm solutions together, and come out stronger as a couple from whatever financial challenges they might have been going through.

So in all of this, genuine and sincere love doesn't fade because of bills or financial struggles; instead, it can be tested over a period of time. And yes, love can survive any kind of financial challenges life throws at it, but for it to come out of it strong, it needs effort, communication, and a willingness.
