In his lecture, The name of the farm is FarmX integrated limited and they are into farming of Black Soldiers Fly (BSF).BSF larvae (BSFL) are grown for their protein- and fat-rich biomass that can be fed to many types of livestock. Their production offers a low-cost means of converting on-farm waste into useful products. The adults flies are not a nuisance pest; they do not bite or sting and are not a bother to humans. BSFs undergo five stages of development: egg, larva, prepupa, pupa, and adult. The Adult flies deposit eggs in dry crevices near rotting organic matter. Eggs hatch after about 4 days, producing larvae that feed on organic waste over a period of 13 to 18 days while passing through five development stages called instars. We were taken to different section where the BSF are kept. First was the septerium; a place where adults male and female are kept for mating. The males die after mating with the females while the females die after laying eggs. They are all kept in a cage called love cage. A favorable material for laying eggs within the mating enclosure or cage is provided . A small blocks of wood work well and provide both an inviting egg-laying environment and easy egg collection method for the workers. The eggs are collected by removing the blocks, separate them from each other, and carefully scrape off the eggs with any scrape object.

They are collected are taken to Lavaruim where they are fed on by organic waste. After three to four days the develop into prepupa and pupa before emaging into adult. For feeding, the larvea are best harvested when they are white in color because it is at this stage they are more proteinous.
