My Mountain Adventure

My Mountain Adventure

It's a good day to share with you all my mountain experience. I visited a new place and found allot of interesting creations to take pictures of. I am a lover of nature, I love seeing trees and natural flowers around, they bring calmness and serenity to the scorching sun and extreme temperature around here. I so much love nature and will be sharing my traveling experiences with more pictures henceforth in the community.

So together with @daverick we decided to go for a walk to the Timber Shed, Tudun Wada small mountain around Twanchit Tudun Wada Plateau State Jos.

Something a bit surprising was when we were climbing the mountain, we saw few houses built on rocks, I mean completely on rocks..

I think it's one of the thing with people in that area, they have buildings even on mountains. I sincerely don't know how to regard that.

Well, I'm sure there are no wild animals close by but how about strong wind and rain that pulls off buildings? The trees and buildings around us lessen the impact of strong winds on houses but what about buildings like this that are totally exposed to these things? Or maybe since the foundation of these houses are on rocks, could it be that the houses will be held firm to the ground and saved from collapsing easily.?

We did not go too far we got to the top of the mountain, it isn't a big mountain but has beautiful trees and flowers around it. These particular plants caught my attention so much and I am happy to take shots of them..

I've been trying to improve my photography skill lately, so I thought I could take a more special shot of the last plant.

I wanted to project a focus point on the photo, so the nice colour on top of the plant was the best point of focus for me. I don't know the name of that part, it seems like the plant seed or stigma, if you have any idea I'll be glad to know..

I don't know for what purpose these stones were broken near the plants but I guess it's the hand work of people that normally visit the mountain.

We further moved to the top of the mountain were we sat and relaxed a little bit. From the mountain top we could see the plains and some nearby houses since the mountain isn't too far from home..

We also took shots from the top of the small mountain, the sun was behind us already so the pictures weren't too clear..

We took so many images before leaving the mountain. It was such a great experience for me and my friend @daverick, we were able explore round our vicinity. I feel it's important to know the environment you're staying so this is just our little adventure to beautiful mountain close to our area..

On our way back home was when I got the clearer view of the mountain with my phone camera. You can see clearly the road created to the mountain by people who normally visit there. It was a refreshing moment and I am grateful for that ever loving experience...

It was a wonderful experience for me that day. Being able to have a view of such wonderful scenery from the mountain top and relating with the nature around, that was refreshing. Nature is indeed beautiful, we should always learn to appreciate that and explore our environment as well. The houses got me amazed too, they drew my mind to the parable of the house built on rock and the one on sand. It seemed like a perfect pictorial view of it...haha
I think I'll need to collect some of these pictures 😁.
