Got a haircut and paid with $HBD.😎||The Payment Process

Unlike other societies and cities in diaspora and other parts of the my country Nigeria, it's pretty much difficult to find merchants that accept BTC lightning and any crypto as method of payments but we are willing to bring that to live here in my region. Recently onboarded @mreazihaircutz for this particular purpose so we will have all Hivers around here go to his shop, take their haircuts and pay him with the stable coin.

I decided to open the floor today by visiting him and taking my haircut. I have recorded the process and will be sharing it here for tutorial purpose so anyone who wants to take their haircuts and pay in the stable coin won't have difficulties doing that.

Like I said, we would've approach shops that receives payment on crypto as the main idea of the #spendHBD program is not to onboard business owners to Hive but in cases where we don't have businesses that accept that here, I think it's a good point of start to introduce businesses to Hive Blockchain particularly and get them to start accepting $HBD as method is payment for their goods and services. We are planning on making our brand more solid so we can promote these initiatives as well and we can only but imagine how lots of crypto elites would love to engage in these activity of #spendHBD. How to Make Your Payment Using Hive keychain.

1. Make sure you're logged in already into your Hive keychain and you've added the Hive account you want to spendHBD with to the Hive keychain app.

2. The merchant (in this case, MREAZIHAIRCUTZ) will create a payment voucher in QR-Code format for the amount you're spending for you to scan.

3. Click on the scan icon (second to the last icon) at the bottom of your Hive keychain wallet interphase.

You'll then scan the payment voucher from the merchant then confirm transaction.

Once you scan the payment voucher and confirm, the transaction will execute and that amount of HBD will be moved from your wallet to Mreazihaircutz wallet.
