A Picture Imperfectly Perfect
A Picture Imperfectly Perfect
How time flies! My childhood days was fun and less stressful since my both parents were around doing everything possible to ensure we all grow up to be the good guys that will promote humanity and shun all evil practices in the community. We are a family of eight but as God made it, we currently three in number, just me and my two brothers. I am the second child of my parents, I have an elder brother and the last born of the house.
One thing I am sure of is that our parents loved all of us very much just like every other parent's would love their children. We lived happily and lack almost nothing except if our parents don't want us to have that thing.
Sadly I was not privileged to enjoy that parental love and care to a max point. I've got pleasant memories to share with you all but I will be focusing on the picture below.
This is a day to remember. I come from a family that pay less attention to social activities like outings and tourism, this particular day was the first and last day of our outing with Dad. I don't know what inspired him that day but whatever that is it's a big one hehehe. Dad has never took us out but all of a sudden one morning he told all of us to dress up we are going out. We were excited because that was the first of it's kind and to be honest it was lovely. Dad made sure all the food and meat was prepared from home, it was done differently from the usual way we use to do at home. He also bought some of the drinks from home so we had to buy just little from the hotel we went for our outing.
That picture was one of the shorts we took that day. We weren't having smart phones then only our dad and the one he has wasn't also sharp to give us a perfect clean picture. I can't remember but it seems it was our younger one that took us the shot because he's not in the picture, the image captured my elder brother, myself and my dad. The picture is so poor in quality but it's one of the pictures I want to keep forever, sadly we will never take such a picture like that again except with our kids! A lot happened but we give God the glory.
The picture might not be sharp or perfectly taken but it reminds me about one of the best and perfect days of my life..
It was a good and blessed day, we are drink and party with Dad and two of his other friends. I cannot forget that day since it was one of the luckiest day we got to share some little memories with our Dad.
I wish it were more but by God's grace I will do that with my kids when I finally procreate. It's very good to take sometime out and create pleasant memories with family either by going on outings, vacations or tourism, I will make sure I do that, I didn't have that much but with yhe one and only one I had, I just realised how important it is to share good time with family and friends..
Thank you for reading my post, this post was inspired by the Hive-reachout weekly prompt "Snapshots That capture perfect moments" thank you..
