Happy to see this "HiveBeeCon" report seen through your eyes... It's interesting how different people perceive these events differently... I got home just a few days ago, and already received many requests for a "recap" of the event... Some can't understand how the heck someone would come to the Hive meetup, travelling 2500km, to hang out with other friends.... while others, who "tasted it", do understand the value behind it... to disconnect from the lunacy, but to connect with the "other side"... the important one!

I'm very glad you didn't have to have surgery, but suffering so much pain on so many occasions is not pleasant. Even so, you were able to bring us this wonderful village with such beautiful views. Although in tourist times it is much more crowded, it seems very peaceful and worth a complete tour, especially for the beautiful castle, the tower and the square with its details, which is what I liked the most.
The vegetation and the path that led you a little bit further are beautiful, the green is intense and the houses are charming. You have made a journey discovering and exploring a wonderful space.

First of all I want to congratulate you on your marriage, a new stage, a new life. On the other hand, you have made a very long journey and let me tell you that I can't sleep when I travel either, no matter how long it is or what means of transport I use.
The place where your wife's parents live is beautiful, the views, the natural places, you had a different experience, although you could enjoy little of the time with your wife's father. That boat is fabulous with its lights and a ride on it must be worth it, even if it is expensive. I can't forget about Pamuk, beautiful! I love cats. And you know, he watches you from up there when you work because he's watching you, you're a stranger. But fortunately he didn't attack you.

When people say that reality surpasses fiction, it is because of stories like this one, worthy of a good soap opera. Marriages by proxy were common until not so long ago. It is difficult to imagine the anxiety of waiting for replies in those exchanges of letters. And that's assuming that none of them got lost along the way, which, no matter how careful you were, is something of a miracle when you think about it. I can understand your mother's pain; it must not have been easy for her to see her future husband marry someone else right in front of her! I'm glad that each couple finally made it work and that it all ended up as a family anecdote.
