What a coincidence! The fact that you read about losing power, and then it suddenly happened to you... It seems like fate, but I congratulate you because you did the best thing you could have done at that moment. Resorting to patience and imagination is a good solution when there are problems. We recently had a power outage in Spain that lasted several hours, something very unusual. Many people went half crazy and desperate, but we kept calm, adapted our routine to the situation, and waited with the resilience you mention. We are so used to comforts that we forget that we can lose them at any moment, and that doesn't mean the end of the world, just that we have to change the way we relate to them. Those ravioli look delicious; meals cooked over a wood fire taste much better. If you have a plan in case it happens again, all the better.

The current market sentiment is peculiar... Yes, these wars, tariffs, and all the other negative stuff hit crypto, but even with all that, on the other side, we have so much crypto-specific positive news... I dislike too many regulations, but everyone was asking for that, and it's happening... and surprisingly, positive things are happening in that regard...
So, all in all, I keep positive spirits... In a nutshell, it's the same as before... Crypto is being suppressed most of the time, but it can't be done forever... It's just a matter of time before it will reach that banana zone... Will that happen in a month, a year, or the next cycle, I don't care... It will happen... 🙂

Drawing and painting faces is the most difficult thing there is. I have learned this over many years, as well as hands and feet, and the key is in the folds or wrinkles, as you mention. In all cases, this is achieved through a combination of light and shadow to create a sense of relief, of actual volume.
But your practice has put you on the right track. You've drawn a very good portrait, and the best way to keep improving your work is to keep drawing.

Wednesday Walk the Mattapoisett rail trail by @tattoodjay

It's a dream location, with those trees, the colour of the sky and the pond, a peaceful place to walk, relax and enjoy the scenery. It's true that 3:30 is very early, but that way you have the chance to see the world with no one else around. I'm glad you brought an extra battery and were able to take these beautiful photographs of a place that looks like it's from another planet.
I loved walking those paths imaginatively through your images.
