When I saw Tainan, I thought that you made a spelling mistake... Silly me... 🤦‍ Of course, I did my research and learned something new... Maybe, I should have read your post first as you explained in it... another facepalm for me...
Btw. the Fort Zeelandia looks interesting and it's an obvious influence of Dutch architecture, which could sound awkward without knowing its history..

Those mosaics are so well-preserved! Did I understand you well that the Basilica of San Vitale is from the 5th century? That is amazing how in good shape it is! Also, I had no idea that Ravenna was the capital of the Western Roman Empire!

Your photos are spectacular. I think that good photographers are those who master black and white, and in this selection there are some wonderful jewels. Especially the cover fascinates me, how you combined the irregular contrast of the frame with the almost perfect lines of the objects. I have not yet dared to edit in this format, I am a simple amateur, but that does not prevent me from enjoying and knowing when I am in front of something special, and your photograph is.
