Pront: Cosa de cabello plateado.

Cuando yo era niño, miraba a los adultos y quería ser como ellos, y con mis amiguitos de esa época uno jugaba a ser doctor, ingeniero, policía, bombero, piloto o astronauta. Recuerdo mucho que, cuando mis amigos iban a la casa, jugábamos con los auriculares que mi papá usaba en el avión para comunicarse con la torre de vuelo.

Y disfrutábamos muchísimo de esos juegos, ya que realmente nos creíamos pilotos, bomberos o astronautas, y realmente esa etapa de la niñez es realmente hermosa y bien fructífera para uno, ya que con el apoyo de los padres y hermanos, uno aprende a ser curioso, a investigar, a hacer amigos y forjar valores.

Después, vino la adolescencia, y en esa época uno deseaba llegar a ser adulto; uno ya desea la independencia, las novias, el trabajo y el comprar las cosas que uno desee, y hacer lo que uno quiera sin tener que pedir permiso a nadie.

Y en esos momentos en los que uno quiere ser adulto, comienzan a haber los cambios físicos: cambia el tono de voz, uno crece mucho en estatura, la masa muscular se hace mayor cuando uno hace ejercicio y comienzan a salir la barba y el bigote, con pelos que apenas se ven.

Pero uno desea que la barba salga, para sentirse adulto, afeitarse y sentirse grande. También los intereses que uno tiene cambian de manera enorme en esa época de transición, hasta que uno llega a ser un adulto.

En ese momento, uno se da cuenta de que los sueños que tenía uno de ser adulto no eran tan fáciles y cómodos como uno pensaba, sino que realmente es al contrario; ahora, como adulto, las exigencias de la vida y las responsabilidades son mayores; ahora no solo velas por tus gastos, sino que además tienes responsabilidades económicas, además de las responsabilidades laborales, afectivas y familiares, que se suman a cambios de intereses muy profundos que ya te definen como adulto.

Y siendo adulto, decides cómo verte y vas variando tus presentaciones personales; en ocasiones usas bigote, en otras barba, en otras te afeitas la cara, y lo mismo con el pelo, hasta que llega un momento en que decides cuál será el look con el que te sientes más cómodo y lo adoptas.

Después viene la época de adulto contemporáneo; ahí uno ve otros cambios: el pelo cambia de color, comienza a ponerse gris y luego pasa a plateado, el cuerpo pasa factura por los excesos de la juventud, y uno comienza una etapa muy conscientemente de cuidado personal, de la salud y de la paz espiritual, teniendo en cuenta que uno está en la etapa que antecede a la vejez, y que desea pasar esta de la mejor manera posible.

Y estando justo en esta etapa, hace poco pasé por un momento interesante, ya que tuve muchos problemas y altibajos en casa, y pasé unos días sin afeitarme, y cuando todo se calmó y tuve de nuevo tiempo para mí, decidí dedicarme un tiempo para mí, y antes de salir, fui a acicalarme y cuando me vi en el espejo del baño, vi una cosa llena de cabello plateado, ojos cansados y cara agotada.

Realmente era yo, mostrando físicamente todo el cansancio de los últimos días, así que me afeité, me corté el cabello y me di un largo baño de agua fría. Y al salir de la ducha y mirarme de nuevo, me di cuenta de que me había quitado como 10 años de encima al eliminar la barba plateada con mechones negros que tenía.

Y en ese momento recordé lo hermosa y divertida que era la niñez y la tranquilidad de la juventud.

When I was a child, I looked at adults and wanted to be like them, and with my little friends of that time one played doctor, engineer, policeman, firefighter, pilot or astronaut. I remember a lot that, when my friends went to the house, we played with the headphones that my dad used on the plane to communicate with the flight tower.

And we enjoyed those games very much, because we really thought we were pilots, firefighters or astronauts, and really that stage of childhood is really beautiful and very fruitful for one, because with the support of parents and siblings, one learns to be curious, to investigate, to make friends and to forge values.

Then, adolescence came, and at that time one wished to become an adult; one already desires independence, girlfriends, work and buying the things one wants, and doing what one wants without having to ask anyone's permission.

And in those moments when one wants to be an adult, there begin to be physical changes: the tone of voice changes, one grows a lot in height, the muscle mass becomes greater when one exercises and the beard and mustache begin to grow, with hairs that are barely visible.

But one wants the beard to come out, to feel grown up, shave and feel big. Also the interests that one has change enormously in that time of transition, until one becomes an adult.

At that moment, one realizes that the dreams one had of being an adult were not as easy and comfortable as one thought, but it is really the opposite; now, as an adult, the demands of life and responsibilities are greater; now not only do you watch over your expenses, but you also have economic responsibilities, in addition to work, emotional and family responsibilities, which add to very profound changes of interests that already define you as an adult.

And being an adult, you decide how to look and you vary your personal presentations; sometimes you wear a mustache, sometimes a beard, sometimes you shave your face, and the same with your hair, until a moment comes when you decide which look you feel most comfortable with and adopt it.

Then comes the time of contemporary adulthood; there one sees other changes: the hair changes color, begins to turn gray and then goes to silver, the body takes its toll from the excesses of youth, and one begins a stage very consciously of personal care, health and spiritual peace, taking into account that one is in the stage that precedes old age, and that one wants to spend this in the best possible way.

And being right at this stage, I recently went through an interesting time, as I had a lot of problems and ups and downs at home, and I spent a few days without shaving, and when everything calmed down and I had time for myself again, I decided to take some time for myself, and before leaving, I went to groom myself and when I saw myself in the bathroom mirror, I saw a thing full of silver hair, tired eyes and exhausted face.

It was really me, physically showing all the tiredness of the last few days, so I shaved, cut my hair and took a long cold water bath. And when I got out of the shower and looked at myself again, I realized that I had taken about 10 years off of myself by removing the silver beard with black strands that I had.

And at that moment I remembered how beautiful and funny childhood was and the tranquility of youth.
