Phone Photography Contest #54: Pictures of my plants.

Pictures taken from my phone

On several occasions, I have talked through the comments with @untilwelearn, about plants, and I have even commented on the advantage of living in a house, to be able to have more space to sow, since by the comments we have made, plants brighten up our day for both of us.

I'm sowing some sunflower seeds now, but I decided not to take pictures of the process, but to take the pictures of the bushes that I already have sown. Also, I was going to take the picture of two ferns that I planted, but they are both having a hard time and they don't finish getting stronger, and I imagine it's because of the time of the year.

And now, the most leafy bushes that I have, are those of shade and that of aloe vera, as it is known internationally. Anyway, I say goodbye and I share the images of my plants with you.

Happy Thursday to everyone.

Plants will always be necessary in the environment where one lives.
Good for you for caring for and promoting them!

So sorry for replying late firstly! 🙏🏼
Despite having a small space, you have a lot of plants and they are flourishing very well. I am also waiting for your sunflower plant to grow and especially when flowers bloom on it, it will look very beautiful facing the sun from the window. 🌻😊

Hello @untilwelearn, happy Sunday and best wishes.
Actually, my plants are growing very well and beautiful.
The changes in the environment are hitting some of them, we are now in the middle of summer, and it is raining, and the sky remains cloudy.
I show you in the picture how the sunflower seeds come, now they are little plants.
After they grow a little more, I transplant them to their own mat.

It is really a beautiful feeling to see the seeds sprouting🥰 So happy to see your seedlings!

Can you tell me something about its seeds, like whether you bought separate seeds for growing sunflower or are these the edible sunflower seeds which we often eat among dry fruits? And how you sow them?

Hello, the seeds, they are the ones that one buys to eat.
I always buy, 250 grams every fortnight.
What I did was that I took 4, and I planted them in a not very large pot, with loose soil and I poured water on them every 3 days.
Now, I hope they grow a little more, and I pass them on to their own stuff, in fact I already passed one last night, to their own stuff, but I saw it very tiny.
So I'm going to wait for the others to grow a little more, I'm going to fill the pots with loose black soil and sow them.
We have a land that we use, which is very good, that land, is next to a stand of a friend, who is a fruit seller, and he enriches the land with fruit shells, and also makes a kind of natural compost.
The trees that he has there, have grown very strong and robust, that's why I use that land, for my little plants.

It is no less than a surprise that sunflower can be grown from edible seeds. I will also try to grow it as per your suggestion because my wife loves sunflower very much. I hope they will grow well. Thank you for guiding me my friend. Have a wonderful day ahead! 😊🙏🏼
