El recibo perdido. / The lost receipt. ESP./EN.

Pront: Conseguí el recibo.

Una de las situaciones más comunes que se nos presentan en la casa y los puestos de trabajo es la pérdida de facturas, objetos, llaves y otros utensilios de uso común. La mayoría de las veces esas pérdidas son momentáneas y se deben a nuestro desorden personal.

Y eso es algo normal, debido a que siempre estamos corriendo y con estrés, entonces, si salimos a comprar algo, casi siempre lo hacemos corriendo para luego regresar a la casa o al centro de trabajo, o para salir y atender algún compromiso.

Es decir, casi siempre estamos en estrés, y la mayoría de las veces tenemos varias cosas en nuestra cabeza, lo que hace que no le demos importancia a ciertas situaciones a las que no les vemos mucha importancia en un momento determinado, pero que terminan teniéndola posteriormente.

A mí me pasó hace poco, cuando fui a buscar unas refacciones para realizar unas reparaciones, y como siempre, además de ir a comprar lo que necesitaba, hice varias actividades pendientes con la intención de ahorrar tiempo.

Pero la sorpresa fue cuando llegué a la casa, y dos de repuestos eran de otra medida; eso significaba que debía volver corriendo a la ferretería para realizar el cambio de las refacciones por otras con las medidas adecuadas.

Y cuando fui a buscar el recibo para irme a hacer los cambios de las refacciones, no lo conseguí, y ahí empezó el proceso de buscar en cada bolsa, en la cartera y en los bolsillos, y ver con mucha molestia y desesperación que no tenía el bendito recibo y que muy posiblemente lo había botado.

Cuando la gorda me preguntó qué me pasaba, le comenté lo perdida del recibo y que posiblemente debería hacer la compra de nuevo. Y cuando estaba a punto de irme resignado a comprar las nuevas refacciones si el dependiente no me las cambiaba por la falta del recibo.

La gorda me gritó desde la cocina: “Ya conseguí el recibo” y cuando le pregunté en dónde estaba, mi amada me respondió: “Lo metiste en la bolsa junto a los tomates”.

Y ahora casi siempre, guardo todos los recibos de las compras en un solo lugar, que es un bolsillo de la bolsa de tela de compras que siempre uso, y no los boto hasta que toda la compra sea revisada. Y la realidad es que muchas veces se me olvida limpiar el bolsillo hasta que está lleno de papeles.

Pero por lo menos ahora, no se me pierden los recibos de las compras.

One of the most common situations that occur to us at home and at work is the loss of bills, objects, keys and other commonly used utensils. Most of the time these losses are momentary and are due to our personal disorder.

And that's something normal, because we are always running and stressed, so if we go out to buy something, we almost always do it running to then return to the house or to the workplace, or to go out and attend to some commitment.

That is, we are almost always in stress, and most of the time we have several things in our head, which makes us not give importance to certain situations to which we do not see much importance at a certain moment, but that end up having it later.

It happened to me recently, when I went to look for some spare parts to make some repairs, and as always, besides going to buy what I needed, I did several pending activities with the intention of saving time.

But the surprise was when I arrived at the house, and two of the spare parts were of a different size; that meant that I had to rush back to the hardware store to exchange the parts for others with the appropriate sizes.

And when I went to look for the receipt to go make the changes of the spare parts, I didn't get it, and that's when the process of searching in each bag, in the wallet and in the pockets began, and seeing with much annoyance and despair that I didn't have the blessed receipt and that I had very possibly thrown it away.

When La gorda asked me what was wrong, I told her about the lost receipt and that I should probably make the purchase again. And when I was about to leave resigned to buy the new parts if the clerk did not change them for the lack of the receipt.

La gorda shouted to me from the kitchen: “I already got the receipt” and when I asked her where it was, my beloved replied: “You put it in the bag next to the tomatoes.”

And now almost always, I keep all the receipts of the purchases in one place, which is a pocket of the cloth shopping bag that I always use, and I don't throw them away until the whole purchase is reviewed. And the reality is that many times I forget to clean my pocket until it is full of papers.

But at least now, I don't miss the receipts for purchases.
