Greetings to all friends of cinnccf, I really liked the topic of this conversation because I am sure I will learn from all of you, I am Cuban and although in Cuba we like tea and other infusions, we have a strong coffee tradition. It is difficult to get to a house to visit and not be offered a cup of coffee, (today I do not assure you because we have many shortages) That is why there are more coffee shops than tea houses, in Old Havana as far as I know there is only one, while there are coffee shops on every corner. I think that's why I don't have many parameters to compare and choose. I love the atmosphere of the coffee shops and the varieties of coffee, depending on how I feel or the objective I have, I go to one or another, if I want to be quiet or if I am going to share with friends. I greatly enjoy the cafés in Habana Vieja, contemplating its streets, its architecture, the music and in short, the whole environment makes me feel very good.

You share a beautiful photo of your city. It is wonderful to be able to find so many coffee shops in one area. There must be a lot of diversity among so many coffee shops.

I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.☕untitled.gif

I am very pleased that you liked it, if you visit Cuba someday, try to know the historic center of the city is a World Heritage Site and you will see how picturesque and diverse its cafes. I receive with great pleasure that cup of coffee. I wish you a nice weekend.🤗☕

I love the view. I would have a coffee while watching people pass by on this street. How beautiful!

...although in Cuba we like tea and other infusions, we have a strong coffee tradition...

I think the same happens here in Venezuela.

@marlyncabrera, yes really the environment is captivating. I think we Latinos are more addicted to Coffee, I would like to know about the rituals when serving tea.
By the way I love your cups and teapots. Thanks Marlyn for sharing. A hug 🤗

Ah, you're too kind! I always like a nice mug for my coffee--or tea. I enjoy seeing Japanese and Chinese ancient tea ceremonies. You can find a lot of this stuff on YouTube 💯

Hello friend, I agree with you, here there are few tea houses, it is not the usual, however there are many coffee shops. The atmosphere of Old Havana is super special to enjoy a cup of coffee, excellent choice ☕😄☕.

Yes, it would be great to try a tea house, it would be phenomenal, to add experiences to our lives.

I make tea at home, different types of relaxing, medicinal, among others, but I have never visited a tea house.

It will be an interesting experience for me to visit a coffee shop in Havana. Cuba is so far away from me and I’m sure it will be a greatly different experience!
