Hola amigos, deseo que todos estén bien, les cuento que hoy a eso de las 5 de la tarde me llamó mi hijo para decirme que había que la nevera no estaba enfriando bien en el área de conservación de alimentos y que a parte de esto, había notado algunas escarchas en las paredes del congelador, bueno amigos, la verdad es que es preocupante cuando la nevera deja de funcionar, precisamente, cuando ya entrando la noche que por la hora, es difícil de conseguir un repuesto.

Bueno amigos, tomando en cuenta la urgencia del caso, enseguida fui a revisar la nevera, en realidad no soy técnico en refrigeración, pero conozco el funcionamiento de los componentes del sistema de enfriamiento de las neveras tales como: la resistencia de descongelación, el suiche bimetálico, el reloj y el kit de arranque del motor, gracias a Dios, poco a poco fui aprendiendo a revisar dichos componentes que e incluso, cuando alguna nevera de mi hija y de mi hijo "falla" ellos enseguida me llaman, eso si, cuando veo que el problema es con una fuga del gas refrigerante, en esos casos, acudo a mi amigo CHEO, porque en verdad no tengo las herramientas y los equipos adecuados para hacer ese tipo de trabajo.

En verdad, el área de conservación de alimentos es donde se siente apenas el frio, porque aun el congelador mantiene congelado los alimentos, pero se puede observar escarchas de hielo en las paredes. generalmente este topo de fallas la ocasiona el bimetálico (Defrost) dañado, aunque también lo puede estar causando otros componentes del sistema de enfriamiento tales como: el ventilador dañado o deficiente, así como el Temporizador (Timer) o el termostato que se haya quedado abierto, cualquiera de estas piezas pueden fallar y ocasionar que el evaporador de la nevera se congele y produzca escarchas de hielo en las paredes del congelador, dichas escarchas seguramente aparecen allí al encontrarse el evaporador congelado.

Bueno amigos al revisar la parte interior del congelador de la nevera me di cuenta que tal y como me lo decía mi hijo, tenían escarchas de hielo por lo que no tuve dudas en que el evaporador también estaba lleno de hielo, así que decidí remover la cubierta para ver el evaporador.

Lo primero que haré será colocar una punta del probador de corriente en uno de los cables del "Bimetálico" y la otra punta del probador en el tomacorriente, el "Bimetálico " funcionará como un interruptor de corriente, el cual abre y cierra el circuito por temperatura, de manea que al hacer esta prueba a temperatura ambiente, el circuito debería de permanecer abierto, por lo que no dejaría pasar la corriente, por lo tanto, la luz del probador no debería de encender.

Bueno amigos, no se encendió la luz del probador, esto significa que el contacto interno del "Bimetálico " aun permanece abierto, por esta razón no pasa la corriente al otro extremo del cable, esto quiere decir que la resistencia de descongelación no recibe la corriente para activarse, de manera que probablemente aquí este el problema.
