I say start with a Bambu Lab A1 mini for around $200. The freaking GOAT of entry level printers. Does all the calibration and leveling for you. Super smooth and fast prints.
Yeah, they are awesome. My mini was my main work horse for a bit until I got the full sized A1. Now my mini is my white and transparent only printer and my A1 is my multicolor.
