Corniche, Doha's waterfront promenade

From the playground in my last post, we can cross the road to the Corniche, Doha's waterfront promenade. Which I did! Let's go!

In the background, Doha's modern skyline is visible, showcasing the city's rapid urban development.

Come see traditional wooden dhow boat docked at the Corniche.

The boat, used for tourist cruises, features a Qatari flag and is accessible via a white gangplank.

There's lot to see along the promenade. Look on!






The most prominent feature looking afar is a large, teardrop-shaped structure visible on the shoreline. It's the Qatar 2020 World Cup logo.

It's a nice place people sit around and talk.

Lastly, let's check out the underwater view, crab swimming over a rocky or sandy bottom. There is marine life present in the Gulf waters surrounding the city.
