THE JOY I HAVE IN COOKING. #LOH #265

*If you could get a second chance at something, what would it be?*

Hmmm 🤔. I would go back to catering school, yes I have always wanted to be a cook, oh I'm sorry a chef. I was so hinged on being a chef that I went to three different catering schools but did not graduate from any of them because of my father. The highest I stayed in all the culinary schools I went to was 4 (four) months instead of a year and six months I was supposed to attend classes and graduate successfully. At some point I began sneaking out and all, I could remember clearly I lied a lot that period just to do what I loved but nope my father was always one step ahead in fact two steps ahead.

Yeah, while I was growing up or I would say while we were growing up, my father had money so he basically will always say "I don't want my children to suffer and I don't want them to stress" stuff like that. I would cry wail and scream but the father I know would not allow me .

I got so frustrated that I decided to befriend our neighbors elder sister who had a catering school but still....

I do tell people if you want to make me happy give me money and after money just give me food ingredients and music. I'll cook for you, it might come out bad, it might not come out the way I expect it but I'll still cook that meal. Although, now I can raise my head up high when people are talking about good cooks 😊. My Dad has done what he thought was best for me (I don't blame him though). Even though every part of me wants to but like I said he has done his part it now time for me to do my part and you see that culinary school, na me and am.
