When I knew about Hive and it was time to get a username for my account it was a tug of war. I wanted to use my stage name oghene-estty but my onboarder said no I should look for another name, I should use another name and I tried Essie the name my usually call me he said no. I picked several names and since he knows all my names he was like pick another name so I picked onyinye-chi. The name of my favorite niece I have two nieces but the first one her name is precious, now the prompt is the reason behind your username let's dive in right into it.

I have written a story about her before this story is about how her mom which is my eldest sister had to go to school and it was of course an unwanted pregnancy and my mom had to bring her (onyinye-chi) back home for her mom to further her education. So basically I took her as my own child like I was very protective about this child at the same time I did not allow her get spoilt because it is one thing to be over protective and then monitor what the child is doing and to be over protective and allow the child do whatever he or she wants, I bathed her, fed her clothed her and played with her, there was never any dull moment with her.

This is a child that made everybody in my area at that time call me names that I got pregnant outside wedlock, this, that, blah blah blah and of course I did not mind because yes she's also my child I will take her to school, bring her back everyday at some point I'll get angry if my younger brother goes to school and brings her back without my notice and my mom called me one day and told me that this is obsession and that I should limit the way I carry this child. A child that when I go to school to carry her her classmate will be shouting Precious your mummy is here, Precious your mom is here, and actually I did not care because like I said before she's still my child (my sister's child is my child).

The hard part came so quickly, the part where I had to leave for school when she was just four, I felt bad that I was leaving my child behind and made my mum swear that she's going to watch "my"child like a hawk. It didn't stop there I was calling regularly as if she held my kidney and I needed her voice to keep me alive. One day I thought to myself, this one I'm doing like this how would I behave when I give birth to my own? . Even though, regardless upon still.
