A VERY STUPID EXCUSE

Yeah, back to my story. There was this lady whom I knew as my mum's friend, and she has three kids, all girls, although her husband is not based in Nigeria. She one day came to my mum that she needed someone to stay with her kids for a few days because she was planning on moving out of their former apartment to a new one, and my mum asked me to go stay with her kids for the few days she would be out job hunting. Her kids were between the ages of 3 and three. And 10 (ten )years old. When I moved in, it was luxury in a building I saw, although my house, or should I say my parents' house, was ok, but this was of a higher standard, so I instantly fell in love with the house and wished I didn't have to stay for a few days,
mi Lady, please can I stay for a few more days?
That was all that was ringing in my head, anyway, I did my voluntary babysitting job. All I did was wake up, sweep the house, and bathe the kids. Life there was so sweet compared to my house, where I had elder siblings who were on my neck to always do their bidding. I felt free for once and when it was time to go she asked that I help her stay with her kids in the new apartment whilst she move their things to the new apartment and then again I saw luxury raised to power 10 the house was so nice and glamorous that I also didn't want to leave (according to my mum I wasn't contended I kinda agree with her, but who no like better thing).
After all the movement and stuff I still stayed in her house until she asked told me it was time to go home and I feigned sickness as if I was about to die and she allowed me stay for a day and called my mum, that was after she opted to take me to the hospital and I quickly refused saying with time I would be better. My mum, on the other end of the phone,, was asking too many questions: "Is she shivering, is she vomiting, any headache complaints?" My mum asked so many questions, and they all turned out to be negative. That was when my mum said, "That sickness is a weak excuse to stay in your house. "In fact, it's a lame and stupid excuse to remain in your house because of enjoyment. That was when I knew it was over for me, yeah, there was a catch, and I was sent back home. Although everything did not end well, the lady spoke to Mum in a bad manner and said, "It is because my mum could not take care of her kids. That's why I wanted to stay at her house instead of going back home". I received the beating of my life that day because of what that lady said. In my own little way, I warned her sternly not to ever disrespect my family like that. I know my words didn't move her, but at least I said something 😁. The next time my mum heard from her, they moved out of the country to stay with their father, and I was the first person she asked about it 😁🤣
